chapter 27

Lucas's POV

I woke up to light streaming onto the bed and a sweet smelling warmth, curled into my chest. I looked down to see Kelsey hugging my chest.

We're both on a our sides facing eachother. My left arms under her head and my rights draped over her waist.

Her left is tight around my side while her other is nestled between our bodies that are perfectly aligned.

My leg is resting between her thighs as hers is hooked over my hip. I pulled her closer to me, right before i tense as she moans and moved as if she was about to wake up.

I didn't wantt to wake her up yet, we had a very eventful night so i wanted her to have her rest,

As she settles again, her head pressed into my chest, i leaned down and sniffed her hair. Honeysuckle. God i loved that smell.

Last night, was just..Wow. Seriously, I waited 3 years for my mate which is longer than usual and i thought i was never gonna find her. I was so frustrated, i was angry all the time, so impatient.

And when i finally completed the mating process, i let all that emotion out and it just felt incrediable.

There was a time or two that i thought i was a bit rough but Kelsey didn't complain. Must be 'cause of her new vampire powers. God, i love her so much. She's my world, my everything.

i'll protect her with every fibre in my body, even if she is slightly stronger than me. Ok, thats a lie. She's a damn lot stronger than me.

I tucked her head under my chin and rested mine above hers on the pillow, closing my eyes, ready to go back to sleep until my damn bladder, interupts my rest.

I slowly uncurl Kelsey's arm from my waist and gently put her leg down, quickly sliding out of the bed and still being naked, padded my way to my en-suite-bathroom.

Once i finshed my buissness, i looked in the mirror to see that my neck had completely healed.

We werewolves heal pretty fast, but with vampire bites it takes a while. Never over night.

Taking one last look at my healed neck, i make my way to the the door and open it to see Kelsey standing there, with this weird lookin her eye.

"Baby, are you-" before i could finish, Her hand lashed out and grabbed me by the neck, before i'm launched across the room, landing and skidding on my bed till i hit the pillows.

As i'm about to get up, i'm being pinned down, as Kelsey straddles me and goes straight for my neck. My hands are restrained so i'm unable to calm her down before her fangs pierce my skin, letting pleasure completely consume me.

I tilted my head more to the side, to give her access, as i fist her hair and pull her closer, while i squeeze her bum with my other hand.

After a few seconds, she pulled away and looked deep into my eye with complete lust.

Next thing i know, it's an hour later, we're sweaty and panting.

"You wanna go take a shower?" i suggest. Kelsey looked up at me from lying on my chest and smiled with a nod.

Kelsey's POV

When i woke up, there was dull pain in my nether regions, but it just made me smile and i remembered last night. Damn, that was just amazing.

I looked around the room to see that i was alone but when i heard the toilet flush, i knew where Lucas had gone.

I sat and i was all of a sudden hit with this hunger urge. I smelt something sweet and it was coming from the bathroom.

i waltzed up to the door about to open it when Lucas stepped out, the smell hitting me full force.

I cut him off when i threw him to the bed, straddled him and bit his neck. God, he tasted so good.

An hour and a half later, we were out of the shower and getting changed.

I put on my usual balck jeggings, with a white spagettie strap top, with a black and blue checked over top, that i buttoned up halfway.

I slipped on my converses, rolled her my sleeves to my elbows and towel dried my hair, till it was semi damp.

I quickly brushed all the knots out and shoved it up into a ponytail.

I walked out of the walk in closet to see that Lucas had already dressed in dark blue jeans, a black short sleeved top with black nike trainers.

I walked into the bathroom with Lucas trailing behind me and saw that my toothbrush was in the little pot at the side of the vanity sink.

We both quickly brush our teeth and make our way downstairs to the kitchen where something smells really good.

Lucas's POV

We entered the Kitchen to find my mum and Amy, cooking bacon, eggs and sasuage. My mum piles up a plate full of food for me and sets it down in front of me.

"Oh, bacon!" Kelsey shouted right before she snagged a piece of my bacon.

"NO!" i shouted, but she'd already eaten it. She snapped her head towards me with wide eyes, "What, can't i eat some bacon?"

"No you can't, human food is deadly to vampires" i rushed out in a panic before I sped over to her to make her throw it up but just as i got to her, her eyes widened and she grabbed her throat and started choking and coughing.

"No, no, no!" I bent her over the sink and went to shove my fingers down her throat but then hysterical laughter erupted from her.

Kelsey straightened and was in a fll on laughing fit. What just happened?

"Y-you s-should h-have seen your f-face" She doubled over with laughter, while i stood there fuming. She almost gave me a freaking heart attack.

"That's not funny, kelsey, i thought you were in a actual pain" i growled.

She immediately sobered up and became serious, "I'm sorry Lucas, but i couldn't resist"

"You have a strange sense of humour. How can someone so beautiful be so evil?"

she grinned micheviously at me before saying, " 'Cause,  baby, i'm a nightmare dressed like a daydream" She patted my head and dug into my my breakfast. 

I sat down next to her and shared the food on the plate before something came to mind, "Did you just quote taylor swift?" all she did was grin and stuff a bit of bacon in her mouth.
