I'm gonna be a dad.

I'm. gonna. be. a. DAD! haha.

Was the first thing, that swept through my mind when Mark said that Kelsey was pregnant.

Wait. That can't be right. We always used a condom.

"Wait, Mark, are you sure? We always used protection"

"I don't know what to say Alpha, i'm very sure, she seems to be about 4 weeks pregnant. Either, the condom broke or you forgot to use one"

My eyebrows scrunched in thought.

We always used one, i checked them as well to make sure they hadn't broke.

I must have forgotten one time but when.

Then it hit me.

When we showered together. We didn't use one then.

But that was...

"Mark, i did forget to use a condom one time, but that was a week ago, how is she 4 weeks pregnant?"

Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.

The heart moniter started beeping like crazy, making me and Mark whip our heads towards the sound.

We saw Kelsey, convulsing frantically.

Instantly, more people came running into the room, A hand touched my shoulder, i looked to see it was one of the nurses, "Alpha, we need you to step outside"

I wanted to scream and shout, (And let it all out. soz i had to do that)

but i knew that me acting up, won't help Kelsey, so I strode out of the room and sat in the waiting area.

I sat there with my head in my hands, listening to the commotion inside of the infirmary room.

I could hear Mark ordering people around.

The beep, beep, beep, of Kelseys heart was overloading my hearing, but then, beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

My head shot up and zipped to the room.

I got to the doorway and saw Mark with the paddles. But right before he could shout, clear, beep, beep, beep, beep.

I let out a sigh of relief.

Her heartbeat was normal and she had stopped convulsing but she wasn't waking up.

"Why isn't she waking up?" I asked Mark in a panic.

He checked her over and looked at me confused.

"She should be awake, her vitals are fine, theres no trauma to the brain, her pupils are responding accordingly. It's like she's gone into a coma"

I walked up to Kelsey's unmoving body and grabbed her hand.

It was warm, just like before she became a vampire.

Wait, what?

I checked her cheeks and they were more rosy than before. She was warm on her face, neck, arms, hands. She was werewolf warm instead of her vampire coldness.

"Doc, check this out" I beamed. Mark checked her and was befuzzled.

"But how?" he muttered to himself.

Then something dawned on me.

Kelsey killed Christian. Her maker. Before her year was up. She should be dead. But how?

Mark seemed to have the same thought as me becasue he looked at Kelsey with a confused and thinking expression.

"Alpha, do you mind if i do some tests, so i can figure out how our Luna is still alive and just how.." He stuttered at the end and just ended up gesturing to the whole of Kelsey. I knew exactly what he meant.

"Yeah, thats fine, just give me a shout when you find anything ok?"

"Of course"

I gazed at Kelsey, before reluctantly walking out of the room, out of the whole infirmary and making my way back to the pack house.

I had a grin on, the whole way back, I was gonna be a dad. But the mother of my child was in a coma state, that i didn't know when she was gonna awake from. But i knew it in my very being and soul, that she would wake up.

I just have to wait for Mark to get back to me.

God, what a rollercoaster.
