IT WAS A FULL MOONluminous and tinged with gold. The moon began to darken, a penumbral shadow spreading across its surface, slowly swallowing the light.

"These violent delights have violent ends..."

The shadow continued to consume the moon until it was fully enveloped in darkness—a new moon disappearing into the night.

A single ruffled tulip flourishing amidst the dark, lush greenery.

"... And in their triumph die, like fire and powder... Which, as they kiss, consume..."

A foot suddenly slammed down next to the tulip, narrowly missing it. As the foot immediately lifts off again, it grazes the tulip, knocking its petals off. The running pair of feet abruptly change direction. Luna Knight desperately searched the woods, dashing through the forest on her frantic quest.

"Wait!" Luna screamed, her voice echoing through the forest as she burst into the sunlight, emerging into the meadow—their meadow. Her breath came in ragged gasps as she looked across the clearing at the blinding figure standing at the edge.

"Who are you?" she demanded, squinting against the piercing light. The figure turned slightly, making the sunlight even more unbearable. Luna shielded her eyes, desperate to make out the features hidden within the radiance. "Why do you keep visiting me?"

Her voice wavered with the weight of the unknown, the fear creeping up her spine like ice. Luna took a hesitant step forward, then froze as a familiar voice called out from behind her.

"Luna..."

She spun around, her heart leaping as Edward emerged from the forest. Relief flooded her, but it was short-lived. Her smile faltered as he approached the edge of the shade, the sunlight inches away from his skin.

"Edward, no!" Luna warned, her voice tinged with panic. The last thing she needed was him exposing himself—or worse, getting hurt.

But Edward just smiled, a calmness in his eyes that unnerved her. He stepped into the sunlight, and the sunbeams shattered off his skin like a thousand rainbow shards, each one a reminder of the danger they faced together.

Luna's breath caught in her throat as Edward sped to her side, his touch cold and electrifying. She wrapped an arm around his waist, her gaze still fixed on the figure at the meadow's edge, its face now visible but unfamiliar.
