Aurora
Coming home from work the next day I was exhausted as usual. I was working on a sexual harassment case and of course I had an uncooperative client.
The house was quiet once I arrived home, being that It was almost midnight. I kicked off my shoes by the door and dropped off my briefcase and other work related objects in the office before heading to my bedroom to change and shower. As I walked around the bedroom in search for more comfortable clothing inside the closet, I spotted a white envelope carefully placed on the top of my pillow. Making my way over to the bed, I picked up the blank envelope that didn't contain a name. I sat down on the bed, continuing on with opening the envelope and retrieving its contents. It was a letter.
'What is love?
Forgive me if I stumble and fall, for I know not how to love too well. I am clumsy and my words do not form as I wish. So let me kiss you instead and let my lips paint for you all the pictures that my clumsy heart cannot.'
Are you familiar with this one? A beautifully written poem by Atticus. It is relatable in a way I suppose you can say. When I look at you I lose all sense of mind. I wish I had more control of my actions as well as my words and feelings. I'm not great with words, so here is a little something I put together in hopes to show you just how much you mean to me.
Please allow me the chance to show you with this scavenger hunt. Throughout the entirety of the hunt you will encounter many challenges, but many surprises as well. If done well you will receive something you've always been craving for in the end.
Ask your self this question I mentioned as you move along. Pay close attention as there a many hidden clues within.
Ask yourself this question repeatedly. Think about it, but not too long or hard as it should come to you with ease.
By the end of it all we both will know the truth behind this four letter word that carries more meaning than it is believed.
Please, define this word as I would like to know the meaning as well. It's only a four letter word, but it carries more meaning.
Solve the riddle on the back of the page and you will have found your first clue.

I scanned the letter a few times, trying to find any traces of evidence as to who it was from. It could only be either Harry or Odysseus. But which one of them was it from?
The letter was vague yet informative. Clear but yet mysterious. I was leaning more towards Harry. He had those qualities in him. Although his previous letters were never so vague. There is the possibility of it being from Odysseus as well.
Either way, the real question was how they got the letter into my bedroom. Odyssey had to have let them in, in order for them to leave the letter. She must know who it came from. I left the letter on the table as I went to the bathroom.
After showering I took the letter once more and made my way upstairs to Odyssey's house. I rang the doorbell and awaited a response. I was doubtful as to whether or not they would answer being that it actually was midnight now. To my luck, the door clicked open. Odyssey stood opposite of me with Zayn by her side.
"Hey Aurora. Layla is already asleep if you're here to get her. It's best to leave her so she doesn't wake."
I shook my head no at Odysseys statement. "I actually came here to talk to you about something."
Odyssey's facial expression flashed a look of panic before returning as was. They stepped over to the side to let me in the house. "Oh, come in then. We were just watching a movie."
"It won't take long I promise. I was just wondering if you had any idea who left this letter while I was at work? It's a scavenger hunt of some sort and I'm having a hard time solving the first clue."
"We can't tell you who it's from. That will only take all the fun out of it."
"Oh come on. Can't you give me even the slightest bit of a hint? Curly hair or brown eyes?"
Odyssey gave me a sly smirk before getting up, "You will find out in the end. As for the first clue I can help you with that." She went inside a cabinet before coming back over to me. Odyssey extended her hand out, handing me a box of chocolates. "Here is your first clue. Good luck my love. You will have fun I promise."
I took the box from her then stood up to leave the house. "Thank you I suppose. Goodnight."
When I got back downstairs, I laid on the bed with the box of chocolates now open. How can this possibly be the first clue? How was it to help me figure out the next? As I ate the chocolates one by one, the box was becoming empty, only to reveal the words written on the bottom of the box.
