Aurora
I laid on Harry's bed, staring up at the ceiling, thinking back to Ms.Edna. Not long ago we left her bookstore and I couldn't stop thinking of her having to sell her store. "We leave for home tomorrow. Is there anywhere else you wanted to visit before then?" Harry spoke from beside me.
There really wasn't anywhere else or anyone else I needed to see. Not that I knew much people in Cambridge. "No."
Harry sat up from his lying position, "What about the cabin?" I never thought about the cabin Harry gave to me since the last time I was there. I've thought about putting it up for sale, but I wasn't sure at the time if Harry would appreciate me selling the cabin he built.
"We can go see it if you want."
"Do you want to?" I wasn't sure why it mattered to Harry whether I wanted to go to the cabin or not but it seemed like he wanted it to be my choice or idea rather to go and not his.
"Yes. I can show Layla around the place." He nodded in agreement. "We can go now if you want." Harry stared down at me as he was hovering over me. My breath got caught in my throat as I thought carefully of my next moves. I gripped the collar of his shirt, gently pulling him down towards me and connecting my lips with his. He kissed me back slowly, but passionately. Harry had shifted around so that he was now hovering ontop of me. I broke the kiss in hopes to catch my breath. His eyes searched mine for a few seconds before he pressed a kiss to the side of my lips. Then to my jawline. His lips made their way down to my neck, leaving kisses here and there. I found my self wrapping my arms around his neck and pulling him down closer to me.
The kisses on my neck suddenly stopped. Harry lifted himself up, turning to his side to take a look at Layla who was asleep, before detaching himself from me completely.
"We should go before the sun goes down."
I watched as he got off the bed and retrieved his socks and shoes. "Did I do something wrong?" His head snapped in my direction. "What? No of course not."
"Why don't you want to kiss me?"
"I do. Of course I do, I just don't want to wake Alaska is all."
I hummed, unconvinced, "Okay."

When we got to the cabin, I was surprised to see the alterations made to the landscape. The grass had been cut low and a fence surrounded the left side of the cabin, occupied by a garden with sunflowers growing tall. There was now also a rock pathway that lead to the door.
"Did you do all this?" I asked Harry who was busy in search of the key.
"I did some cleaning up of the yard last time I was here." Learning that Harry comes here maybe often was weird to say the least. I suppose it shouldn't be weird though, he did build this place after all. It may have been mine in a way, but he was still the owner of this property.
We entered the dark cabin, Harry quickly going to switch on the lights. As soon as they came on, the cabin became brightly light with soft orange lights. Nothing seemed to be different with the interior. Expect for the fact that all the furniture was covered with white sheets of cloth.
"To protect the furniture from damage" Harry spoke from behind me. I nodded in response. That makes sense I suppose. I walked around the cabin, observing everything before finally taking a seat on one of the couches. Layla came running towards me and jumped up on the couch with a giggle. I smiled down at her, giving her hair a little sweep.
Harry walked over to us, taking a seat on the couch as well. "We're you able to solve the riddle?"
I was confused about what he meant until I wasn't. I looked over at him in surprise, "The scavenger hunt was you?"
"Yes of course."
"I haven't figured out the answer to your question yet, but I believe I'm close. It wasn't a simple question seeing as trying to describe in words what love is, isn't easy."
"It was never meant to be easy."
"I still have to find the last clue. Once I do you will have your answer and I believe you said there will be a prize waiting for me at the finish line."
"That's correct, you can find the last clue back home. As for now, I want you to take this."
He held out his hand, urging me to take the thick envelope. I suspiciously looked at him before taking the envelope from him. "As a means to help you answer the question."
I unclasped the clips of the Manila envelope, opening it and taking a look inside. Inside was a book. I reached inside, retrieving the book. Setting the envelope aside, I took a look at the book in my hand, 'Love Is A Mix Tape, by Rob Sheffield'
"It is one of my favorite books. I've read it a few times. It's a memoir about Sheffield and how he met the love of his life. It talks a lot about their life together and their love for each other before her passing. I think you'd really like it."
I opened the book to a random page, carefully reading over the words.
"Renee loved to do things. That was mysterious to me, since I was more comfortable talking about things and never doing them. She liked passion. She liked adventure. I cowered from passion and talked myself out of adventure. Before I met her, I was just another hermit wolf boy, scared of life, hiding in my room with my records and fanzines."
I closed the book then spoke up to Harry, "I'll give it a read"
