Six impossible thoughts turned to poetry. But today, not before breakfast honestly that is asking too much. I might make it before lunch?
1. If I could sprout wings,
Would they be light little things?
Upon my ankles or just behind the ears
Like gills glistering, with iridescent hues
No me thinks that I would need big wings please,
Upon my back maybe blue and parrot green.
2. The sky turns lavender blue
And the seas and ocean would be lavender too
Our world would have a special glow
All in shifting shadows, a purple show
Nothing bright just a shiny soft dew
This I see. Can you see this too?
3. If mirrors could talk,
And tell us what we must do,
To improve our world, to
Develop our dreams we wish for,
Maybe they already do
But we human beings have no ears.
4. If I had all the money in the world,
I would keep enough for comfort sake,
The rest I would give away, for others to be awake
So I wouldn't be like the princess and that pea,
And not sleep at night freaking out
That these riches where gained by war and blood.
5. If everyone was a perfect human being,
And our world was all heavenly
We wouldn't need a thing, and just maybe
We would all be green, and standing still
In sunlight warm, photosynthesizing
And making oxygen to breathe, see us the trees, memorizing.
6. If I could teach the world to sing,
A song from youth, and not too long
I would also teach them how to dance,
So the beat could be enhanced,
Then I would teach the world to love,
Releasing all wontedness, for a peace dove.
Why have I committed myself to this? Silly me, just as one wise wattpader said as mad as the hatter that is me.
