218 Today I wash, and the sun shines, actually nice, an answer to my prayers
Yesterday was impossible it rained and rained grey clouds no ease
The wind blew a westerly in February all over town
That was due in August not now, climate all upside down
I have this amazing washing line,” A Hill’s Hoist”, swings around
Round and round, the clothes just dance with the slightest breeze, a really please
(Alice it is Impossible to think of drying clothes any other way.)
219 I have an African Violet sitting in a plastic pot
Drinks from the bottom not the top
Has beautiful flowers and fantastic leaves
Furry green on top and light lavender underneath
Those leaves weave up and out like ears
It gives me a little O2 to breathe
(Amazing nature what we take for granted, really humans are impossible Alice.)
220 Another thing about my home
I have been told by some
That my kitchen has a gift
It has expandable walls which lift
Up and out so many times
A crowd could sit, enjoying food and many a wine
221Another little tip about my kitchen is
My floor, it is black porcelain
Found really cheap, by my brilliant
Brother-in-law, who can bargain,
Now one beautiful day, a rainbow, reflected there
Danced and romanced my sight, such a delight
222 I have another little piece of home grown luck
One day I found a four leaf clover, growing
Out of an impossible place, under my house
Now that my friends was years ago, and I am
Still waiting for the promised pot of gold
And my husband has an old horse shoe behind every door.
Now that is impossible to believe? But what I say be very true.
223 All these home grown impossibilities
Are just little miracles deciding to just be you see?
Even those little things we don’t understand
How those old horse shoes, allow anything
I am not to criticise, when I am still waiting for the pot of gold at rainbow’s end
Our miracles impossible dreams come true every single day specially the home-grown kind.
Total so far 223.
