Alice in Wonderland Impossible Thoughts.

Sunday Reflections mostly done Monday Morning

Alice I do hope I write at least something today

It’s that question of being mad, that got in my way

So to revisit you Alice I must be touched in some way?

The Cheshire Cat admitted that everyone is mad

That is in wonderland, even you Alice as mad as mad-hatter

 Or even the March Hare, so I do believe I ‘m then in the best company

I just love the conversation of the differences

Between a Cat and a Dog with the opposites

So well explained and the fact that a dog

Knows how to behave in the exactly the right way

And Bark when mad and wag when glad

But the cats growl when happy and wag when mad.

(So I looked to myself and asked in a mad way

Am I a cat type and purr when I say

That I am happy or do me wag a tail in a bad way

So really I can’t see that I am a cat or a dog

And Alice that poor babe was a real hog

But I still believe that these special beings can do good …..This is not part of Alice

Just a piece of free thinking that has got in the way.)

Now to get back to Alice

We see nonsense spinning

On every page, the deeper

We read between those lines

The deeper we fall down that rabbit hole

The sheer wonder of this Imaginary world really is what takes me in.

Yet another thing is the interweaving

Of storyline and poems, all that great dialogue

Lewis Carroll you are a genius

With the written word

You can either take a child or this adult

With each word to a wonderful world.

Just one more thing this Sunday

Wasn’t written on Sunday at all

But busy trying to catch up

No time to check a thing

I have the White Rabbit sting

Time has got me by the throat and I don’t JOKE.

Will sometimes I just joke all the time

but right now I must rush

commitments of another kind

have taken me down a hole of study

and I just may find

that in my mind I fear I just may grow too big, Like Alice. EEEK!

OFF WITH HER HEAD maybe just the call

and I just may fall

right down again 

I forgot that it was old St Patrick's Day

And A new pope is sitting in St Peter's chair

I only hope is that Pope Francis can bring about some needed change ( not really part of Alice just stuff that I am thinking about.:~))))
