The form here is a repeated words, with the first letter of each odd stanza having the same letter start each line and finishing with the word nothing. the even stanzas have the wishing word repeated on each line and also finising with the last word as nothing.
137.Wishing for impossible things to just happen
Without action nothing will save us, just nothing
If we just wish and wait look to the sky
For a Meshier ( an Alice?), all the days of our lives
Forgetting about those to our left and right
Nothing will come, just senseless wishing for a nothing.
138.Wishing for a better job without seeing how things really are
Wishing for a trip or that lotto winnings to change our world
Wishing for the best for our children may not be a shared dream
Wishing that this world can change in a day is an impossible reality
Wishing for a better life one not full of strife is a Wonderland
Wishing just wishing doesn’t achieve a thing just a nothing.
139.Wishing for the impossible is like a Mad Hater’s Party
With Alice shrunk to be really small and hide in his Hat
For we can’t just shrink from responsibilities and hide
In our houses and pretend the outside won’t come in
Forgetting that to our right and left many hurt and die
Nothing comes about our collective actions of nothing
140.Wishing for hate to shrink and fade out of site,
Wishing for them those, leaders to see and do right
Wishing for others to be our action, just someone else
Wishing for a better world while sitting and criticizing
Wishing for the strength to change ourselves from inside
Wishing just wishing doesn’t achieve anything only a nothing.
141Wishing for our fears to be gone those Jabberwockies
Without looking them in the face and expressing our fears
In identification of what terror replays, we can’t face
Future worlds will see how we had to overcome our tears
For if we don’t the future will not be, change is our only way
Nothing and no action will only achieve destruction resulting in nothing.
142. Wishing and hiding in drugs and alcohol won’t change a thing
Wishing and leaving it up to someone else won’t happen
Wishing for a self -inflicted pain wouldn’t change the world
Wishing for that helping hand to wave a magic wand
Wishing for the impossible instead of changing ourselves
Wishing just wishing and dreaming and screaming ,and cutting does nothing.
