I don't think this was requested, but if it was then here ya go!

Kojiro's POV

"Ugghhhhhhhhhhhhh What the hell do I even sayyyyyyyyyyy" I complained to my older brother. "Dude. You're already dating. Just ask him on a date, it's not that hard" He answered, rolling his eyes at me. I sighed, knowing he was right. "But where" I thought aloud, thinking of different places Kaoru enjoyed. "Well, pick somewhere he likes. Probably somewhere nice as well." He said, finally putting down his book. I thought for a few minutes, before knowing exactly where to take him. "Thanks" I yelled, jumping up from the couch. "Be careful, and be back by 10" He yelled at me as I grabbed my board to go skate with Kaoru.

After the whole Adam thing happened, Kaoru became extremely clingy, and suffered from pretty bad anxiety, so I spent a lot of time around him. During that, I guess he realized that he had a crush on me, so we ended up confessing at the exact same time one night. Pretty cheesy, I know. That was 2 weeks ago, and I still haven't had the courage to ask him on a date, but tonight's different. I'm finally gonna ask.

"Boo!" I heard as someone hurled themselves at me. I smiled and caught the person, automatically knowing the scent to be the one and only Kaoru. "Hello" He said, looking at me. "Hi," I answered, smiling. "You seem happier than normal, did something happen?" He asked me, raising an eyebrow. "I actually have something to ask you, but it can wait till later." I said, smirking before jumping on my board and going up the ramp. "No fair" He whined, catching up to me quickly. We did this for a while, seeing who could do what better, and eventually we flopped down underneath a nearby tree. "Ugh I'm tired." He mumbled, sitting down beside me. I was out of breath, and could only nod in response. "You should ask me now" He randomly said. I looked over at him, "You said you had something to ask me?" I smiled and looked away, blushing. "I...uh" "Come on Kojiro, spit it out." "Will you, well I mean DO you wanna go on a d-date?" I asked, a goofy smile plastered on my face. "Obviously. I've been waiting for you to ask>" He answered, before strangling me in a hug. I hugged back and kissed his forehead, something I learned that he really enjoyed.

"I'm cold" He mumbled as we walked slowly down the road, hand in hand. "Here" I said, taking off my hoodie and handing it to him. "What. No, now you'll freeze." He said, pushing it away. "Just take it" I said, pushing it back at him. I watched out of the corner of my eye as he put it on, blushing afterwards. "Better?" "Mhm" He hummed, grabbing onto my arm and resting his head against my shoulder. After walking for a bit, we made our way to Kaoru's house, where I walked him to the front door. "Thank you" He said, smiling. "Oh yeah, here" He said, going to take off my hoodie. "No, no. Please keep it for now" I said, really wanting him to hold onto it. He smiled and took a step closer to me. "You never told me when the date is?" He said with a cocky tone. I rolled my eyes playfully, "Tomorrow night. I'll pick you up at 6" I said. He smiled and leaned his head against my chest. "You should just stay the night," He whined. "I would, but I have to get something ready for tomorrow." I said, rubbing his back. "Fine" He mumbled, going to pull away from me. "Hey, come back." I said, grabbing his arm. He pouted at me, so I smiled and gently kissed him, to which he pushed his lips back against mine. "Better?" I asked, pulling away from him. "Mhm" He answered, a goofy smile plastered on his face.

The next morning, I got up, knowing I needed to go out to the store and get some things quickly. I got dressed, and said goodbye to my family before hoping on my board and skating down the street. First stop: The bakery.

I stopped at the bakery, not only because I was hungry, but because I also wanted to get Kaoru some of that fancy cake he really enjoyed. After getting there, I decided that I wanted more than just a bagel, and also ended up getting a yogurt bowl. After eating, I bought a piece of the cake, but asked if they could keep it in the fridge until I was done at the store, which they agreed to since I went there so often. "Thank you!" I yelled as I ran out the door and down the street to the supermarket. Inside, I found a things of white roses, along with a box of chocolates, and a fluffy bear, knowing full well that Kaoru hid his stuffed animals under his bed every time I went over there. 'Good enough' I thought as I went over and paid for it. Once done, I ran back down the street and got the cake, before walking back home.

At home, I put the roses into a vase and waited around, figuring out exactly what I wanted to do tonight. 'We definitely won't be doing "that"' I thought, blushing. I want to wait for a better time, plus, I don't even know if that's something he wants to do, so yeah. I do know I'm taking him to the restaurant, but then what?By the time we are done there won't be time to go watch a movie or something like that. Then I realized something. It's only Saturday, so we could have a sleepover. Yep that's it, that's what we're gonna do.

Eventually, after a long time of waiting around, it was time to get ready. I put on a pair of jeans, along with a button up shirt and some dress shoes. "Looking good," My brother said, leaning against my door frame. "Thanks" I mumbled and walked past him, into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and combed my hair. Afterwards, I went downstairs and put the chocolates, bear and cake in a bag. "Look at you, all grown up." My mom said, being dramatic as always. "Moooooom" I whined, rolling my eyes. "Did you get him flowers?" She asked. "Yes mom" "Good, he loves flowers" She answered, walking into the kitchen.  "Yeah, yeah I know." "Better get going" She said, pointing out the time. I had 15 minutes to get to his house, so I grabbed the flowers and headed out.

As I walked up the stairs to his door, I pulled out the bear and rang the doorbell. When he opened the door, he went to throw himself into my arms, but instead stared at me, his face turning a dark shade of pink. I smiled and handed the roses to him. "T-thank you" He mumbled, taking them out of my hands. We went inside and put them in a vase, and I gave him the rest of the things I bought before we went to leave. "Oh wait" I said. He looked at me questioningly. "Can you sleepover at my house tonight?" I asked. He asked his parents, and of course they said yes, so we left, planning to come back for his things later. As we walked down the sidewalk, I grabbed his hand. Kaoru looked over at me, an eyebrow raised. "What?" I asked. "you're acting very nervous." Kaoru answered, shrugging. "I am?" He hummed in response and we continued to walk to the restaurant.

"Wait, we're going here??" Kaoru asked, his eyes sparkling. "Yep!" I answered, smiling at him. He smiled back and kissed my cheek, before pulling me up to the door with him. "Hello there" A cheery woman said as we walked through the door. "Hey, we have a spot for 6:30" I said. She looked up my name and then led us to a table. "Hmm." Kaoru hummed. "Yes?" "Oops sorry, I'm just thinking." He answered, looking through the menu. 'Just get whatever you want. I've got it covered." I said, smirking. He smirked back at me and then continued to look. After we had both ordered, and were waiting for our food to arrive, "Kojiro" "Yeah?" "Thank you." Kaoru said, smiling  widely. I felt my face heat up and I pulled out my phone, "Stay still" I said, taking a picture of him. "Idiot." He said, blushing.

After we had eaten, we went back up to the font and paid, before leaving. "That was so gooood" Kaoru said, dragging out the last word. "I'm glad you enjoyed it." I said, wrapping my arm around his shoulder. He leaned his head against me as we continued to walk home. We went back to Kaoru's house so he could get his things, and then we went back to my house. "Mom, I'm home" I called, as we walked through the door. "How was it hunny?" She asked from the kitchen. "Well I think it went pretty good." I answered, smirking at Kaoru. He rolled his eyes as we went into the kitchen. "Oh, Hi Kaoru!" She said, pulling him into a hug. After that whole scene, we went upstairs. "What do you want to do?" I asked him, sitting on my bed. "Let's watch a movie" "So you can fall asleep?" I asked in a joking tone. "Shut up" He answered, throwing a pillow from my desk chair at me.

We got changed into more comfy clothes, and then sat on my bed. I sat against my headboard, and patted the spot next to me. "Come here" I said. Kaoru crawled beside me, and leaned against my shoulder, so I put my arm around him and pulled him closer. "Thank you for today Kojiro" He said. I smiled and kissed his forehead, "You don't have to thank me. It's just something I should do babe." I said, making sure to throw the nickname in there. His face went red and he buried his head in his hands. When he brought his head back up, he had a small smirk plastered on his face. "What?' I asked, "Close your eyes." I did as I was told and closed my eyes, only to feel a pair of lips on mine a few seconds later. When we pulled away, I pulled Kaoru onto my lap and laid my head on his shoulder. "Stupid" He said, giggling. He shifted and faced the tv, and we sat like that until we both fell asleep.
