Miya's POV

"Kaoru it's ok." "No it's not. Stop saying that" I sat on the couch in the living room with my knees to my chest. I was holding my hands over my ears, trying to drown out the yelling coming from the kitchen. "You were literally holding her hand," Cherry screamed. "I wasn't, if you would just let me explain" Joe said back, trying to reason with him. "You're so stupid Kojiro" Cherry screamed. I got up and ran as fast as I could up the stairs, ignoring the tears coming down my face. "Miya dear!" Cherry cried, following me up the stairs, but I slammed and locked the door before he could reach me. He knocked on the door gently, "Miya honey" Go Away" I screamed, wiping my face. "Miya-" "I said go away" I yelled once more. I heard Cherry let out a choked sob and then their bedroom door closed. Since my bedroom was down the hall from theirs, I could hear as Cherry began crying and sobbing, making me put my hands over my ears and close my eyes.

Kojiro's POV

I Wiped my eyes and looked at the counter, which had a broken glass and my tears covering it. I sighed and began cleaning up the glass, but a piece nicked my hand and my palm started bleeding. "Shit" I muttered and grabbed a cloth, wrapping it around my hand. I sighed once more and walked up the stairs to find Kaoru. I gently knocked on the door. "Kaoru" I whispered, not opening the door in case he didn't want me to. "You can come in" He muttered. I slowly opened the door and closed in behind me. "I'm sorry" I said, still facing the door. "Come here," Kaoru whispered. I turned around and saw him wrapped up in our blankets. "Kaoru. Can I tell you what really happened?" I asked, sitting on the edge of the bed. He hummed, "It wasn't a she, it was a guy. Someone from high school" It was silent for a few minutes before I heard Cherry crying. "Shh, shh, don't cry my love"  I said, going to grab onto him. He jumped on me and began sobbing into my chest. "I-I'm sorry" Cherry screamed. I rubbed his back as he continued to sob until he calmed down.

"Kojiro, you're hand" He said, sounding horrified. "It's just a scratch." I said, rubbing his back more. "You're bleeding all over the blanket" He said, jumping out of the bed. I got up and followed, and he made me sit on the counter. "I-i know the first aid kit is around here somewhere" He said, searching the cupboards for it. "Baby, where's Miya?" I asked, not caring that I was bleeding. "I-in his room. Where is the fucking kit" He yelled, getting fustrated. "Kaoru, calm down. Let's go talk to Miya and then I'll go to the ER" Kaoru looked at me with his tear soaked face and nodded, and took my good hand. "Miya?" I said gently, knocking on his door. "W-what?" "Can I come in sweetheart?" I asked, not wanting to scare him. He agreed and I opened the door with Kaoru behind me. "We're sorry for yelling sweety, we know you don't like it. And I promise this is the only time it will ever happen. Mama and Papa just had a misunderstanding." I explained, sitting on his bed. Kaoru stayed in the doorway, looking too scared to come in. "Mama" Miya said, looking over at him. Without a second thought Cherry ran to Miya and pulled him into a hug. "I'm so sorry I scared you. I promise  will never do anything like it again."

After we all made up Miya finally noticed my hand. "Papa, you're bleeding" Miya said with a raised voice. "Oh yeah...throw on a jacket and shoes." I said, getting up and going to the door. "I'll drive," Kaoru said, running past me to the car. I waited for Miya to be out the door and locked it, then got into the car. "Excuse me, my husband needs stitches asap," Kaoru said, running up to the counter. "Papa, did they hurt?" Miya asked when I came back out. "Not really sweetheart" I answered, ruffling his hair. "What time is it?" I asked as we got back into the car. "A little after 10" Cherry replied. "How about we get take out for dinner?" I suggested, knowing everyone was hungry.

After we had all eaten, we all got changed and got ready for bed. "Miya honey" Kaoru called from our room, laying down a clean blanket. "Yes Mama?" Miya asked, appearing in our doorway. "Do you wanna come sleep with Kojiro and I?" Miya nodded and jumped onto our bed beside me. Kaoru got on the other side one me and laid his head on my chest. Miya came up and leaned against my shoulder so I wrapped my arm around him and pulled him in. "I love you both" I said, shutting my eyes. "I love you too" They both said at the same time. I kissed each of their foreheads and told Carla to play Kaoru's music. "You guys go to sleep, ok?" I said, pulling the blankets up on both of them. When I looked, Miya was already passed out, but Cherry was drawing little pictures on my chest. "I really am sorry," He said. "I know, it's ok" I said, pulling him in for a kiss. "Please, can that be our only really big fight for the rest of our lives?" He muttered, closing his eyes. "I'd like that"
