Cherry's POV

Joe leaned down to kiss me and then-

My eyes opened. Oh it was a dream. I sat up, moving my arm to Joe's side of the bed, but not feeling anything. I got up, going into the bathroom to take a shower, but something surprised me. Written in what seemed to be white board marker, "When you get out, come downstairs" with a winking face. Sometimes Joe's so dumb, I thought smiling to myself. I got into and out of the shower as fast as possible, wanting to see what he had in store for me.

After getting washed and dressed, I started my journey to our kitchen. As I was descending the stairs I began to smell pancakes. I walked into the kitchen to see Joe cooking at the stove, so I snuck up behind him, snaking my arms around his waist. "Jesus you scared me" he said turning around in my arms. He put his arms around my waste, so I moved mine up onto his shoulders. "Good morning love" He whispered into my ear, leaning down to kiss me. "Good morning" I whispered back onto his lips, before they touched together.

I pulled away from him, smirking. "So. I assumed you've planned something for today?" "What makes you think that?" He answered back, smirking at me now. I Put my hands on my hips, "You never get up that early to make breakfast" I stated. "Fine you got me" He said chuckling. "I planned the day for us, but you don't get to know what we're doing, or where we're going until we're there. Got it?" "Yeah yeah sure." I said back to him. I sat down at the table, and Joe placed a cup of coffee in-front of the both of us. We sat in silence for a couple minutes before he had to get back up to flip the food. I got up with him, going to the fridge and cutting up fruit.

After we had eaten, we went back up to our bedroom. Joe grabbed hold of my waste, throwing me onto the bed. He started tickling me, and smothering my cheeks and small kisses. "JoE, ComE oNNNN." I said laughing. "But babe, your laughing makes me happy" he said looking up at me.

"Ok, ok, fine" Joe said, getting up and sitting beside me. "Go get ready, We gotta leave soon" "Where are we going?" I asked. "That's a secret," he said playfully pushing my head into a pillow. I fought back, grabbing the pillow and smacking him into the head. I got up from the bed, going into the closet, and coming out with new clothes. "What should I wear?" I asked. "Nothing at all" Joe answered winking, which made me roll my eyes. "I'm kidding babe, for now. Just wear something comfortable and I'll deal with the rest." I went back into our shared closet, grabbing one of my kimonos, and going into the bathroom to change.

Joe's POV

Cherry disappeared into the bathroom, leaving me to put my plan into action. I went into the closet, grabbing our swim shorts and shoving them into a bag. I went into the hall closet and brought out three towels. Next I ventured into the kitchen, grabbing the sandwiches and snacks I got up early to make for this date. I got the last few things we'd need, Cherry's parasol, and sunscreen.

Cherry had called, asking where I was from our bedroom, so I told him that I just needed to put something into the car quickly. When I got back inside, Cherry was waiting at the door. "What are you up to?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "Nothing sweetheart." I said, leaning in to kiss him. Our kiss lasted more than a minute, when finally we pulled away, catching our breath. "Stupid gorilla" Cherry said, rolling his eyes at me. "Go get in the car idiot." I said, pushing him lightly towards the door. He grabbed my hand and pulled me with him, pinning me against the door. "Push me one more time and you won't get to see me without clothes on ever again." And with that he moved me, opened the door, and walked to the door. I wore a smug smile on my face, locking up the door, and getting into the car myself.
