Kaoru's POV

"Kaoru, Kaoru" I groaned and tried opening my eyes as Kojiro started kissing all over my face. I giggled and rolled over, hiding my face in the blankets. "Merry Christmas love" He said, kissing the back of my head. I sighed and faced him, wrapping my arms around his neck. "Merry Christmas" I said, kissing him lightly on the lips. "I've got to go check on breakfast," he said quietly. I nodded and he got up and off the bed and disappeared down the stairs. I got up and washed my face, brushed my hair and teeth, and then threw a robe over my pajamas. I walked downstairs and found Kojiro filling two mugs with coffee. "Thank you" I said, taking a mug as he handed it and kissed my cheek. "In 10 breakfast will be done, so you should go wake Miya love" Kojiro said, flipping a pancake.

"Miya, sweetheart" I whispered, opening his bedroom door. "Miya" I said again, walking over to the edge of his bed. I sat down and rubbed his shoulder until he woke up. He groaned and tried to push my arm away. I laughed, "Miya hunny, time to wake up" "Nooo" He whined, rolling over. I sighed, "I guess I'll give Reki and Langa your presents." I said, standing up. "Wait, no" He said, sitting up fast. I smirked, "That's what I thought. Go get ready and meet us downstairs" I said. I went back downstairs and sat down at the table. Miya ran down the stairs a few seconds later and sat down beside me. "Merry Christmas" Kojiro sang, coming into the kitchen with a plate full of pancakes. I stood up and helped him bring out the fruit, syrups, and whipped cream, while he got drinks. "How was your sleep?" I asked Miya as he stuffed his mouth full of food. "Good" He answered, chugging a glass of orange juice after. I giggled, knowing exactly what he was doing, "Miya calm down. It doesn't matter how fast you eat cause you're not opening anything until Kaoru and I are done" Kojiro said, laughing.

"Holy!" Miya said as we all walked into the living room. There were at least a hundred presents, and 75% of them were for him. "I guess Santa did a good job huh?" Kojiro said, smirking as we sat on the ground beside Miya. "Start with your stocking" I said, passing it over to him. I got him to hold it for a picture and then he started digging through it. He got fuzzy socks, candy, Pokemon cards, sketching pencils, a key chain for his backpack, chapstick, A stuffed animal(I was gonna say a fnaf one or a pokemon one lmao), A lanyard with game characters on it, and a few packets of colour changing hot chocolate powder. I let Kojiro open his stocking next, then I went. Once they were all done I handed Miya a present from under the tree and he began opening. We took turns opening a present at a time, until we had finished. Miya had gotten everything he wanted and more, like the new keyboard he had asked for, a gaming headset, and new controller, some clothes, some Lego sets, a new sketchbook, some art materials, a new blanket, a new phone case, and a few smaller things.

"So, do ya like everything?" Kojiro asked, leaning against me. "If something doesn't fit we can exchange it for you" I said. "I like it all," Miya said, smiling like crazy. "Oh come here" Joe said, scooping both of us into his arms. "Papa, you're strangling me," Miya said, laughing. I joined in on the laughing and Kojiro let us go, but as soon as Miya got out of his arms he wrapped them around me again and buried his head in my shoulder. I ruffled his hair, "You're a big baby" I sighed. I could feel him smirk against my skin, and then start sucking lightly. My face turned red and I covered my eyes, knowing he was trying to be a smartass. A few seconds later he pulled his head away and wiped his hand across the part of my neck. I turned my head and glared at him until he chuckled and let me go. "Go start on the turkey you gorilla" I said, storming off to the bathroom.

I checked in the mirror to see how bad it was, and when it was barely there I calmed down. I figured it was fine because it wasn't noticeable unless you were really looking at it. I left the bathroom to see Miya playing one of the Nintendo games we got him. I smiled and sat beside him, gently wrapping one of my arms around his shoulder. I watched him play for a while, until Kojiro called us for lunch. We sat down at the table and ate together, talking about random things. After lunch, we sat in the living room and turned on a Christmas movie. Miya watched, while also playing around with his presents, and I tested out some of the new calligraphy materials Kojiro had gotten me.

Hours later we ate dinner, watched another couple movies, and then headed to bed. "Goodnight Love" I said, kissing Miya on the head as I walked back over to the door. "Night kiddo, Merry Christmas" Kojiro said, turning off the light. We left his door open and went into our own bedroom. "I'm exhausted." I said, flopping down onto the bed. Kojiro chuckled and took his shirt off before climbing onto the bed. "Get up" He said, pushing me playfully. I laughed and got up, sitting next to him normally. "Thank you for everything" I said, laying against his chest. "Thank you Kaoru" We sat in silence for a while, until we both eventually fell asleep.
