66. Hitting on you

*Third Person's POV*

After a few seconds of staring at each other New came back to his senses and blinked his eyes in shock.

Tay removed his hands from New's cheeks and both of them turned away.

Tay rubbed his neck with his hand and said "Sorry... wanted to stop... the tears..."

New wiped off the remaining teardrops and both of them just looked around.

"Are you good now?" Tay asked slowly.

"Hmmm..." New said slowly.

"It's so late..." New said wanting to go back to his room.

"Yeah..." Tay said slowly but he didn't want to leave.

"Let's -" New was saying when his hand touched Tay's hand unknowingly on the bench and Tay spoke suddenly cutting him off.

"New..." Tay called him slowly and New looked at Tay.

*New's POV*

Why are we staring at each other?

But... I just want to keep staring into his eyes...

I felt Tay slowly touching my hand more...

Tay slowly said "I..."

I was staring into his eyes and tried to stay calm to listen to the remaining words he wanted to say when suddenly my mobile started ringing and we both flinched.

I chuckled nervously while removing my hand from his and picking up the mobile.

"Hey!! Where are you?!" Pluem said shouting loudly and my ears rang.

"Stop shouting. I will go deaf." I said rubbing my ear.

"I don't care. Get the hell back here now idiot." Pluem said frowning.

"Okay... okay. Why do you have to shout?" I said.

"You always make me worry. How long do I have to babysit you?" Pluem said annoyed.

"Shut up. I am on the rooftop. I am coming... okay." I said and Pluem cut the call without hearing the whole thing.

"Such an ass..." I said mumbling while being annoyed and then looked at Tay who was staring at me.

"It's Pluem... he keeps annoying me." I said chuckling nervously and Tay gave a smile.

"I have to go. Let's talk tomorrow." I said.

"Good night New." Tay said with a bright smile.

"Yeah. Good night Tay." I said and went down to my room.

I opened the room and saw it was empty. I didn't see Pluem anywhere.

That idiot... he wanted me to come back quickly... but he's nowhere...

I suddenly remembered what Tay was saying "I..." before my mobile rang. 

I slowly slid down the door and thought to myself...

"I LOVE YOU!!!" I remembered Tay's words when he confessed to me.

"Ahhh... you have gone crazy New..." I said rubbing my hair.

"I rejected him so harshly... so why am I still hoping he will say that..."

"I am so stupid to think that he will still love me..."

But... he touched my hand... Is it just a coincidence...

"Ughh... Forget it... I should just sleep..."
