41. Secret

*Tay POV*

"And this is Tay, everyone." The host said and everyone clapped.

After completing every contestant's performance the hostess said "Okay, everyone these are the Campus King and Queen contestants." and everyone gave a huge round of applause.

Then the contestants moved to the front of the stage and bent down on their knees a bit and everyone in the audience started giving one red rose to the contestant which they like. I was receiving many red roses from the students and then at the end, my friends came in front of me and Gun gave me the four red roses which he held in his hand together. Slowly they encouraged me and left and New who was the last person behind them stood in front of me.

"So... did you fall in love with my singing?" I asked with confidence and New stood silent.

"Of course you did... you are too shocked to even say anything right... cause I am so great -" I was saying but New cut me off.

"Yeah... it's beautiful." New said smiling warmly and then left with the others who were waiting for him.

What?? I thought he would joke or say something with sarcasm. Did he really fall in love with my singing?... I really made him fall in love with my singing... Why am I so happy? I didn't even win the competition yet but why am I so happy... I just can't stop myself from smiling...

Then the host said, "The judges also have given their judgment."

"There will be only two contestants who will become our Campus King and Queen." The hostess announced.

The host said "The winner of this year's Campus King and Queen competition..."

"Campus Queen is... Ms. Jamie Juthapich from the Faculty of Engineering." and everyone gave a huge round of applause.

"And the Campus King is... Mr. Tay Tawan from the Faculty of Engineering." and everyone again gave a huge round of applause.

The hostess announced, "We request the judges to please present the prizes to our winners."

The judges came on to the stage and made us wear the Campus King and Queen sashes and gave us the certificate of Campus King and Queen and the audience cheered for us loudly.

Afterward, I and Jamie attended the photo op to place our pics on the Freedom page for winning the competition.

Then there was an after-party where all the people who participated in the competition can join along with the staff. I also invited my friends along with me to the club and we all sat around a table.

"Congrats Peng... my friend is now the Campus King." Off said shouting while drinking.

"Uhh... Who cares about that? Just enjoy now." I said drinking.

"Yeah. Cheers!" Earth said and everyone clinked our glasses together.

"But about the Campus Queen... your girl really won." Off said chuckling.

"Shut up. She's not my girl and she's so annoying I don't even want to think about it." I said frowning.

"Hmmm... but she performed very well." Earth said.

"Yeah... I really thought she was going to perform putting on makeup as her talent but she performed Thai fan dance so perfectly that I too was shocked." I said.

We were clinking our glasses together and drinking when it suddenly struck me and I asked them "Was I cool and handsome on the stage?"

"Yeah." Gun said smiling.
