*New POV*
"Sir, can you really think about me working here for three or four days instead of a week? I have my part-time job to take care of." I asked the manager when there were fewer customers.
"I can give you a better offer. Just work here instead of your part-time job. I will give you more money than your part-time job offers you. You can even schedule your own timings. What do you say?" The manager asked me.
"The offer is great, sir, but, it's not for people like me. I don't even have the qualifications to work here. I know you are impressed with my work today but I don't want to quit my part-time job just because you are giving me more money. I love working there. I am really sorry, sir." I said feeling sad.
"Then, if you can't work here instead of your part-time job, you have to work for more than a week or so. I can't let you leave without you paying me back the money you owe us."
"What?? You can't do that, sir. Please." I requested him.
"I can't do anything about it if you can't work here." Just when I thought this day was good, it suddenly turns out bad. I just sigh and sadly went back to my work.
*Third Person's POV*
Suddenly a person wearing a neat black suit and black eyeglasses enters the restaurant and approaches the manager. New didn't observe the person coming in since he was tending to the customers very sincerely. The entrance room and the hall were divided with an automatic hard glass with designs so the person or the voice couldn't be seen or heard from the inside.
"Sir, my boss wants to discuss an important matter with you. Could you please talk to him?" The person asked the manager showing a mobile in his hand.
"Okay, I will." The manager replied nodding and the person pressed the speaker on the mobile.
"Hello? Is this the manager?" A mysterious person spoke.
"Yes. How can I help you, sir?" The manager spoke politely.
"That new guy working there. How much money does he owe your restaurant?" The person spoke with a sharp tone.
"What?? Who are you talking about, sir? There is no such person who owes us any money." The manager was shocked since he knew who the person was talking about so, he rejected the accusation very quickly.
"Ohh... Then you really don't know who I am talking about? Do I really have to remind you?" The person's voice was harsh this time and the manager became really tensed.
"Sir, are you talking about New?" The manager asked and waited for a reply from the other side.
The person spoke after a few seconds "Let him free. The person in front of you will pay the amount." in a soft tone.
"Sir, I assure you. He really wants to work here and we even agreed to pay him a lot of money. We aren't going to make him work here for free just because of the money he owes us." The manager tried to convince the person on the phone smiling nervously.
"If word gets out that you are trying to make people work for you in spite of them disagreeing to it, do you think it would be a good reputation for your restaurant?" The person told the manager.
"Don't be mistaken to think it's just a warning. I can get the restaurant closed within a day." The person continued with no emotion in his voice.
"Okay, sir... I... I... I understand. Pl... Please don't do that, sir." The manager was shocked and struck with the fear of hearing the person's tone of voice. The manager thought that this person will just do as he says and it's best not to provoke him so he quickly tried to calm down the situation.
