17. Dorm Cons

*New POV*

"I don't know." I said staring at him.

"Then do you like Earth?" Gun asked me again.

"I don't know." I said.

"Are you unsure of what your feelings are?" Gun asked me and I nodded.

"I didn't really like anyone. So, I really don't know what does a person feels, when they like someone." I said staring at him.

"You never fell in love with anyone, right?" Gun said and I nodded my head.

"Feelings of love will automatically come to you when you feel that you can't stay away from that person. You feel empty inside when they are gradually leaving you. It hurts when you stay away from them but it hurts more when you stay with them and they couldn't care less about you. You would want them to see you for yourself and not as a friend or family." Gun said with a sad smile.

"..." I was confused about hearing what Gun said.

"Love is both a blessing and a curse to feel everything so deeply. You are eager to know what love is about or how does one falls in love but once you are in it, you won't be able to get out. It is like an underground hole where you don't know when you will reach the bottom of the hole or what lies in it or when you can get out of it." Gun said staring distantly.

"...I don't fully understand what you said." I said slowly.

"Don't worry about it. I am ranting away what I felt like. You will understand on your own when you get to know about your feelings." Gun said with a smile.

"Anyway New, if you are into guys or girls, I don't care. I will be your best friend no matter who you like. I just want you to be happy." Gun said and I hugged him.

"Thanks, Gun." 

"Don't say that. I know you will do the same for me."

"Of course, you are my best friend so I don't care about who you like. Wait -" I said.

"You like him?" I continued.

"No!! I don't like Earth." Gun said quickly.

"Off? Do you have feelings for him?" I asked.

"..." We both were silent for some time and then I decided not to ask any more questions since he was feeling uncomfortable.

"...No. I will give you a piece of advice, New." Gun said slowly.

"What is it?" I said.

"Don't fall in love with any of those guys in F3. Those three only like girls so you are bound to get rejected from the start. They won't consider your feelings in the least so it's better if you don't like any of them." Gun said seriously.

"Ok. I will remember that." 

"Your part-time job? Is it okay if you are late?" Gun said pointing the time on the clock.

"Shit! Pluem is going to kill me if I am late. Bye, Gun." I quickly stood up and left the place hurriedly.

"Yeah, bye." Gun said waving back his hand at me.

*Off POV*

I searched everywhere for Gun at his house and other places but I couldn't find him. When I asked his parents they told me that he didn't tell them the location he was staying at. Gun rejected telling them the location and said he will visit the house sometimes. I tried calling him several times but he isn't responding to any of my calls. It's been two days since he is avoiding me. I felt very sad so I visited the bar alone and drunk myself to the fullest.
