*Tay POV*

"Nothing... We weren't talking about any bet." I said laughing nervously. I didn't want New to know about this but I was the one who talked about the bet now without thinking that New was here. Why did I do such a silly mistake?

"I was here from the start and I clearly heard about the bet. Tell me about it now." New said seriously.

"If Tay's team won the match I wasn't supposed to talk to you and if our team won the match I could. That was our deal." Luke said.

"You wanted to win the match so much just because you wanted to win the bet. And here I thought I wanted to cheer for you to win the match." New said seriously to me.

"You both just used me as a bet for your match... or did you guys always make a bet on someone and it's not just me... just for fun?" New looked at me and Luke for an answer and we stayed quiet without saying anything.

"You did... Do you know how a person feels when they are used as a bet? Try to think from their position and then you will know how it feels." New said.

"Sorry... It won't happen again..." Luke said.

"I didn't want to accept that bet but I had to... I just wanted to protect you as a friend..." I said.

"You think accepting a bet would protect me? Did you try to ask me if I wanted any of this? You both just decided everything on your own and used me as a bet in between your match... just because you guys wanted to." New said.

"Sorry." I said looking at him.

"Okay... I forgive you guys but sometimes a simple bet can break someone's heart. Just don't make a bet on someone again because sometimes it will hurt their feelings when they know they are just used as a bet no matter the reason." New said.

"Anyway, Luke... Why was the bet about you talking to me?" New asked Luke.

"I... I want to..." Luke was trying to say but he was cut off by New.

"Ohh... We can be friends, Luke. You don't have to think so much to ask me that." New said.

"Huuhhh... I got rejected before I said anything." Luke said sighing.

"You wanted to be friends with me, right? Or is that not what you are saying?" New said confused.

"No...no... I want to be friends with you." Luke said and showed his right hand in front of New.

New thought that he wanted to shake hands as friends again so he offered his hand but Luke took New's hand and kissed it suddenly.

"What are you doing?" I said shoving him away.

"It's a sign of being friends." Luke said.

"Friends don't do that." I said angrily.

"Ohh... Is that so?" Luke said smiling.

"Hey... are you guys all friends now?" Gun said coming near us with a smile.

"Yes, we are." New said smiling and I said angrily "No, we aren't." simultaneously.

"Ohh... you are or you aren't..." Gun asked confused.

*Off POV*

I and Oab were listening to Tay, New, Gun and Luke's conversation.

"Congrats on winning, Off." Oab said.

"Yeah." I said.

"About the bet... Do you like betting so much?" I asked Oab.
