51. Jealous

*Third Person's POV*

At night Gun came and knocked on New's room.

"Who is it?" Pluem shouted from inside and opened the door with an annoyed expression on his face.

"Gun? What's wrong?" New asked looking at him.

Gun went inside and hugged New without saying anything with Pluem still standing at the door.

"What the fuck? Why is everyone fighting or gloomy around me? First you... then P'Podd and Fluke fight all the time... now him." Pluem said.

"Looks like I am the only person here who is bright, sharp and intelligent... and have to take care of all you sad people... I am really tired." Pluem said praising himself.

New took the pillow on the bed and threw it at Pluem's face... 

Pluem got hit by the pillow "Ouch..."

"Stop the overacting... and get the fuck out." New said.

"Oww... it's my room... huh... whatever." Pluem said that it's his room but still went out giving them time to talk it out.

"So... what's wrong?" New said making Gun sit on the bed with him.

"I told Oab I don't have any feelings for him... rejecting someone is very hard." Gun said slowly looking down.

"Are you okay?" New asked.

"Hmmm... I did what I felt right now. I don't know about the future though." Gun said.

"It's okay... no one knows what will happen in the future... it's your life... your decision... only you can choose how you wish to live..." New said.

*Next day*

Gun was coming out of the cooking club when Off came towards him and asked "Where's the box? I will taste test it for you."

"You don't have to do that." Gun said.

"Why? Is Oab doing the taste testing?" Off asked.

"No. I don't need any taste tester." Gun said.

"I am good at cooking. I can take care of it myself." Gun said.

"Okay... you want to go and have dinner with me." Off asked with a smile.

"I am tired. I want to go and sleep. Later." Gun said.

"Yeah... later." Off said looking at Gun's back who was walking away.

New was walking to the entrance when Earth called him.

"New!" Earth said and New turned around.

"Do you want to have dinner with me?" Earth asked rubbing the back of his neck.

"Me?" New asked.

"Hmmm..." Earth said.

New thought they were still not comfortable with each other so they didn't talk much but when Earth asked him for dinner New felt really happy.

"Of course... but it's going to take time before my shift ends." New said.

"I will wait... as a friend." Earth said with a smile and New smiled back.

Actually, Tay was waiting at the entrance like before to talk to New and drop him at his part-time job but Tay saw New and Earth happily walking away to the parking lot. Tay was pissed seeing that but he didn't know why he was feeling like that.

Tay followed Earth's car and stopped at New's part-time restaurant. After Earth and New went inside he also parked the car and went inside.

Earth was waiting for New to complete his shift and ordered a juice to Mek and Tay came towards the table and said "Make it two." while sitting at the table.
