61. Unclear Words

*Third Person's POV*

Tay couldn't say anything after hearing those words from New and put a very sad expression on his face.

"Let's forget everything that happened today." New said.

"Hmmm... I will try not to bring up this topic between us anymore." Tay said after making up his mind.

"Okay. Let's go." New said.

"Can we stay for some time? I want to look at the moon." Tay said slowly.

"I will wait in the car." New said.

"I said I won't bring up this topic... so why do you want to leave?" Tay asked.

"It's not because of that." New said.

"Then why?" Tay asked.

"I hate looking at the moon." New said without any expression.

"Huh?" Tay said shocked.

"But you look at it all the time." Tay said.

"Cause I hate it." New said and walked away to the car.

Tay was confused hearing New's words and he slowly sat down on the ground and looked at the moon.

*Tay POV*

I could hear my heart breaking into pieces cause of New's words...

Can we never be more than best friends New?

My heart still says you love me but my mind says that you don't love me...

Why are my heart and mind not giving the same answer?

When we look into each other's eyes I want to keep on looking into them... you feel the same way too don't you?

What should I do?

Your words confuse me New...

You always look at the moon cause you hate it... I don't understand...

I wish I could read your mind...

*Third Person's POV*

The ride back to the dorm was silent... Tay just concentrated on driving and New just looked outside the window.

After they arrived at the dorm New just walked away without saying anything and Tay couldn't say anything too so they just parted to their rooms like that.

*Next day*

New didn't know what to do after Tay confessed to him. When both Tay and New met it was totally awkward between them.

Tay sometimes stared at New and New didn't know how to take those stares. New thought avoiding Tay was the best option.

New was talking to everyone except Tay and Tay just tried to talk normally to everyone.

"I don't understand this one." Tay said showing the book to Gun.

"Why are you showing it to me? Ask New." Gun said.

Tay stared at New but New looked away.

"I am leaving." New said.

"You wanted to study today. Why are you leaving suddenly?" Earth asked.

"Not interested. See you later." New said and left.

*Next day*

New baked cookies and brought them to the table.

The others ate the cookies but Tay was hesitant to take one.

"These are so good." Off said.

"Take one Tay." Gun said.
