28. Provoke

*Tay POV*

When I opened the door I saw New on the floor of the rooftop. What is he doing there? I went near him and saw that he was sleeping. Why is he sleeping here? Is he really sleeping? I sat down beside him and waved my hand in front of him to see if he was really sleeping... I didn't observe him clearly until now but he looks cute... beautiful... Am I an Idiot?... I am an idiot for thinking he's cute... beautiful... but his skin looks so smooth and white... and it looks like it will turn red if I just touch it... I was unconsciously trying to touch his face when suddenly New caught my hand...

"What are you doing?" New asked getting up from his sleeping position released my hand and then leaned on the flat wall of the rooftop's edge.

"I... was just checking if you were really sleeping." I said leaning on the flat wall beside him.

"Why do you always disturb my sleep?" New asked.

"I didn't... and don't sleep where people roam around you." I said.

"People usually won't come to this place." New said looking around.

"Uhh... anyway, how did you get the keys to the rooftop?" I asked.

"From Mr. Danny... After that day he told me to teach you... I went and asked him the key to the rooftop." New said.

"It wasn't for free, you know? He made me do some writing work for him and I had to arrange all the things in his room... and at the end of the day he gave me the key and told me to leave the key at the same place before leaving." New continued.

"Are you stupid? Why do you need to go to the rooftop that much?" I said.

"Just because... it's peaceful." New said looking up.

"Peaceful? What is?" I said looking up.

"The sky..." New said looking at the sky.

"Sky??" I said confused.

"Just looking at it... not thinking about anything else... Isn't it peaceful?" New said.

"Yeah... it is..." I said smiling.

"So that's why you like the night sky with the stars and moon?" I asked.

"Yeah... night sky with the stars and moon is very beautiful more than the day sky... I love seeing that... it feels so peaceful and the heart becomes lighter and happy... there will be nothing in our mind to think about... and it's just you and the night sky..." New said still gazing intently at the sky.

"Why does it feel like... you want to go somewhere far away..." I unconsciously said to New while looking at him.

"What?? What is that??" New said shocked.

"Ohhh... I didn't mean to say that... you don't have to consider what I said now... it's just nonsense..." I said laughing nervously but why did I feel that way when he was just looking at the sky... somehow him looking at the sky like that made me feel that... why...

"Why are you here?" New asked.

"Why? What??" I said confused.

"Did you want to ask me something?" New said.

"Ohhh... Nothing..." I said.

"Okay then... I am leaving." New said getting up while taking his bag beside him.

"Okay." I said getting up while taking my bag and then New locked the rooftop door kept the key at the same place he took it and we went our own ways afterward.

It was dinner time and we were all eating together in my room except for New.

"So... is it all set to go?" Off asked.
