29. Trip

*New POV*

"We are not fighting." I said slowly.

"Then, what's the problem?" P'Mook asked and I couldn't reply.

"I can give an advice if I know." P'Mook said but I still didn't reply.

"Fight or not... resolve it... I don't want you guys disturbing other customers every day." P'Mook said sighing.

"My friends want me to go on a trip with them." I said suddenly.

"Ohhh... your friends who came that day." P'Mook said.

"Hmmm... I said I won't come but they are saying the trip will be cancelled if I don't come." I said.

"So, Tay's here every day to make you go with them on the trip." P'Mook said.

"Hmmm." I said nodding.

"Why not just go? I don't see any problem." P'Mook said.

"..." I stayed silent and didn't say anything.

"Are you scared? Scared of getting too close to people." P'Mook said and I blinked my eyes looking at her shocked.

"Don't be, New. I really don't know anything about you but just... forget about everything which happened in the past or which may or may not happen in the future... just think of the present right now. What do you want to do right now?" P'Mook said and I looked down at the floor.

"You are really great at doing your work and everything but... you never tried to be close to us even though you thought of us like family... I really think of you as a brother, New so I am glad that you are talking to me about your problem and asking for advice." P'Mook said smiling patting my head and I raised my head to look at her.

"So, what answer do you want to hear?" P'Mook said.

"What answer?" I said confused.

"Do you believe in your friends?" P'Mook asked.

"Of course." I said confidently.

"Do your friends believe in you?" P'Mook asked.

"Hmmm." I said nodding my head.

"Then do you truly feel that you don't want to go with them?" P'Mook asked.

"..." I couldn't answer.

"You are hesitating... then the answer's already with you." P'Mook said smiling.

"Take care of the cash register for now. I will take care of Tay. Take your time and give them your answer." P'Mook said.

"I will make Mek work like hell the next week... he's becoming very lazy every day and having fun all the time... so don't worry about the work here." P'Mook said grinning evilly and left.

"Oh my! Forgive me Mek for leaving you in hell." I thought after hearing that.

I was in my room thinking about what P'Mook said... The answer's already with me... huh... I really hesitated because that wasn't what I truly felt... I really wanted to go with them...

Pluem came just now and switched on the light in the room. After switching on the light he screamed a little shocked.

"Ahh! You scared me. What are you doing sitting there like a ghost? At least switch on the light." Pluem said putting a hand on his heart to calm himself while I was staring off into space.

"Why are you spaced out like that?" Pluem asked sitting on the chair.

"Is it okay if I go on a trip?" I asked.
