23. Cheer for me

*New POV*

"Hey, New. Where are you looking?" Gun said.

"Nothing." I said and looked at the event.

We cheered Earth on and he participated in a total of three events for swimming which are freestyle 200m, butterfly 100m and backstroke 200m swimming event. He won two gold and one silver in those three events. Everyone surrounded him and started congratulating him.

Just when he was free and we were about to go near him we saw the same girl hugging him tightly and praising him and then she kissed him on the cheek.

"Who is she?" I asked Gun.

"Ohh... Her name is Olives Krittaporn. She is from another university as you can see... they both are childhood friends and she is the one Earth has a crush on." Gun said.

"He didn't confess to her?" I asked.

"He was rejected. She said she doesn't have any feelings like that for him so, they are just friends now." Gun said. 

I doubt Earth just thinks of her as a friend. Those times he said he was with a friend or that time when he said his friend canceled on him was her... I don't even need to guess he was waiting all those times for her just by looking at how happy he is now.

"Let's go."

"You don't want to congratulate him now?" Gun asked.

"We aren't needed right now..." I said staring at them.

"Let's go and look at Off's match." I said pulling Gun.

"Tay will be there too." Gun said.

"I am only coming with you since you wanted to cheer for Off." I said smiling.

"What? Who said I wanted to cheer for Off?" 

"Off wanted you to cheer for him so he even kept the front row seats for you." I said smirking.

"I will cheer for him and Tay too." Gun said.

"You too cheer for them." Gun continued.

"I won't cheer for Tay. He can win or lose on his own without me cheering for him for all I care." I said with a frown.

"Why do you guys always bicker without any reason?" Gun said.

"It's not bickering... there's a reason and he starts the fight every time." I said.

"You mean a silly reason... Okay, okay, let's go." Gun said laughing nervously when I stared at him frowning.

Since every event was conducted simultaneously around six universities participated in the basketball event divided into two groups with three on each group and the final team standing from both groups is going to face off in the finals. Raphi University and Wiwatt University are the final teams standing and are going to fight for the gold medal in the finals.

We entered the basketball stadium and took the seats in the front row which Off kept for us. The match was going to start after ten minutes and the players were preparing themselves by throwing the basketballs in the net and running for a bit. 

Off saw us seated in the front row and came to us. 

"You guys came to cheer for us." Off said.

"Do your best, Off." Gun said.

I was looking at both Off and Gun talking when Tay suddenly said "Hey."

"What?" I said.

"You came to cheer for us." Tay asked.
