The month went by fast, Alex had found her place with the avengers, getting the closest with Wanda, Natasha, and peter, but Sam also got close. Bucky was, well bucky, one second he would be all kind but it all went south another moment and he would turn ice cold.
It had been multiple sleepless nights, always having either nightmares from memories that had already came back or had new memories come to her.
She had run into the soldier on multiple occasions when they both couldn't sleep and were sat on the balcony either in silence or talking a bit, but that all depended on how cold bucky would be.
She did have to say that the coldness was getting less and less the more time went by, maybe he was seeing that she was the real deal and not some spy. But then again the guy was just scared, and she understood that.
"why are we the only ones here?" Bucky spoke, Tony had called him and Alex down for a mission. "Because we are suspecting that some hydra agents are undercover on a vacation resort in France, they are said to have a box of important files, we will need those if we want to disarm the main base" tony said and Bucky nodded.
"That still doesn't explain why it is just us two" Lex spoke and Tony nodded. "because we need to have a believable cover and what is more believable than a loved up couple going on a vacation together," he said and Lex had to do her best to hold in her laugh.
"why didn't you send nat and bruce, they are already a thing" bucky said and Lex nodded in agreement. "because we got nothing from bruce except the green guy, which we do not need in a vacation resort full of children, besides you guys are a believable couple don't think I didn't see the way you two rolled around the mat the first training" he said and Lex turned pink because her father had noticed.
"so are you going to do it or do I need to tell pepper what happened in training" he was cut off by lex "no, no, god no, even if there isn't anything going on mom would not shut up about it so no thank you, I'll do it" she said in defeat and bucky nodded as well.
"fine we'll do It, besides I won't turn down a free vacation" he spoke, and well lex agreed with that. "okay great, you will be flying out later tonight, I will need you in the lab later because of the arm" tony said and bucky nodded.
"now get started with packing" he said to his daughter who got up and walked out of the room.
"he wants you to what?!" wanda asked when Lex was done explaining. Wanda and Natasha were sprawled across her bed while Lex was packing. "yeah so we will see how that goes down, the one with the crossed back or the booby one?" she asked holding up two bikinis. "both it's a beach vacation you may need a third' Natasha spoke and Wanda agreed. "ooh and take the black bathing suit, you know the one that makes your boobs look good" wanda spoke and Lex laughed.
