She closed the notebook tears in her eyes, she wasn't even halfway through but she had read enough, the memories all flew back and she didn't know she could care even more about the soldier then she already did
She was brought out of her thoughts by a knock on her door. "it's open" she yelled after Jarvis announced that it was peter at her door.
"hey uhm weird question, Wanda asked me to ask you because you are the only other woman here well yeah together with Natasha but it would hurt her if I asked her and ofcourse pepper but you know not to bother your mom when she is working" he rambled.
"what is it peter?" she asked cutting the boy of "I need pads, I mean Wanda needs pads, but I came for them, she is still on the toilet" he said and Lex nodded.
"you could have just said that" she chuckled walking into her bathroom and coming back with a few pads and a couple of tampons, she didn't know which Wanda preffered so she handed them both to the boy.
"Uhm do you have something to put it in, It's a little weird if someone sees me walking around with these" he said and the girl smiled grabbing a grocery bag she still needed to throw out.
"thanks a lot, see you at dinner" he said before running out.
She smiled after the boy, she was glad to have peter as a friend, he would do anything for you, like going out of his way to get you pads.
"hey wanda, how are the cramps?" Alex asked and wanda looked confused "cramps? From what?" she asked. Oh.
"from your period?" she asked and wanda looked even more confused "I'm not on my period, where did you get that?" she asked.
That's weird, she didn't want to reveal what had happened with peter he must have had a reason to lie. So she covered for him "I thought I heard you talk about it, I guess not, sorry my mind is a mess at the moment" she lied and Wanda understood.
Alex shot a quick glance at peter who was talking with Steve.

That night bucky woke up to screaming, Al's screams. He ran through the bathroom filling a glass of water and ran into her bedroom.
"Al it's okay, Al wake up, I'm here" he said shaking the girl to wake her up. She shot up and her hands flew around the soldier.
"their faces, you should have seen their faces, I did that I-" she was cut off by a loud sob leaving her mouth. "I know" bucky whispered rubbing circles into her back while she sobbed into his neck.
He handed her the glass of water when she calmed down a little.
"Don't leave me" she said her words holding so much meaning. the soldier nodded crawling next to her in the bed. She cuddled up against him and Bucky put his arms around her protectively.
The next day Alex had went to the super market, she had put the pieces together, the cramps the pads.
When peter walked into his room later that day he had found a basket on his bed. It was filled with pads and tampons of all sizes together with 3 bars of chocolate and a note.

After putting the basket in the boy's room she went back to her own deciding to watch some Netflix, too tired to do anything else after the training and the sleepless night.
About halfway through the second episode she had put on of friends there was a knock on her door.
Jarvis announced that it was peter and Alex yelled "It is open". Peter walked in with his head to the ground.
"hey peet, wanna watch with me?" she asked patting the bed besides her. "you are not gonna ask questions?" he said in surprise.
Alex shook her head "of course not, if you want to tell me about it then you can, but you can do it in your own time whenever you are ready" she said and peter smiled at her.
He toed off his shoes and got on the bed next to her. "you are right, the hazelnut one is delicious" he said grabbing the half eaten bar from the front pocket of his sweater.
"I knew you would like it" she said and peter nodded handing her a piece.
"I wasn't planning on telling anyone about it, at all, I thought I could keep it a secret, I already went through the transition before Tony recruited me" he started while quietly nibbling on his chocolate.
"Tony already knows, he noticed my scars from 'boob removal' on the first fitting for my suit and when he had run some tests to see how I got my powers, he saw I had XX chromosomes instead of XY so yeah that's how he found out" he mumbled putting air quotes around boob removal making lex chuckle.
"are you ashamed of it?" Lex suddenly asked making peter cock an eyebrow "of course I'm not-" "then why do you act like you are, it is nothing to be ashamed of peet, it is who you are, you should be proud to be who you are" she said and hugged the boy to her chest.
From the beginning peter had felt like a little brother. "thank you lex this is why I originally came to you, ofcourse the fact that wanda could read minds had something to do with it, but you were to first I thought of and one of the only ones I would trust with my life, next to mr stark ofcourse" he rambled again and she listened with a smile on her face.
"I'm glad you trust me" she said and the two watched a couple of episodes of friends before getting called down for dinner
That night she had a nightmare again, but just like last night Bucky was right there when she woke up.
