She started hallucinating, suddenly she was in the backyard again and saw her family die infront of her.
"NO!" she yelled before the scenario shifted to the avengers tower and she saw how her father, tony, and her mom, Pepper, also died.
"STOP THIS" she yelled before the scenario shifted again this time to her own bedroom Bucky was there too and he collapsed to the floor, she ran over and held him but he started to bleed all over like he had been shot multiple times. "you could have saved me" he croaked out before he went limp in her arms.
"what are you doing?!" she yelled but there was no answer.
"LEX!" she heard bucky from in the distance. "STAR" she yelled back, she faintly felt some arms around her, but when she looked down they weren't there.
"It is all in your head" she heard Bucky yell. "you are stronger then this, you got us out of that van you can do it again" she looked at the dead bucky on the ground.
The scene shifted again this time all her dead loved ones were laying on the grass in front of her.
Their voices echoing in her head.
"you deserved everything bad that happened to you"
"I never loved you"
"you don't mean anything to me"
"you are worthless"
"you are a monster"
"you killed them"
"they were innocent"
"you left us"
"you ruined me"
their faces started to flash by as they spoke. She clamped her hands over her ears. this had to end she was stronger than this, Bucky is right. she is powerful, the most powerful in the room.
she got an idea "Hold me tight" she said hoping bucky could hear her. Alex felt the arms faintly tighten around her and she began yelling trying to make things happen even though she couldn't see a thing.
She focused on destroying everything in reach but also focused on keeping her friends intact, just like with bucky in the forest.
She felt gushes of wind around her, she put out her arms and felt an energy leave her. she thought about destroying and burning everything in her way exept her friends.
Bucky looked up at the girl and saw a purple glow surrounding them all, before a purple fire started to rain over them so he closed his eyes.
There were loud crashed all around followed by a deadly silence but lex didn't dare open her eyes, afraid she would see them all dead again. afraid it didn't work, afraid she killed them.
"HOLY SHIT THAT WAS FUCKING AWESOME" she heard Peter yell and she opened her eyes, her friends were protected by a faint purple bubble. all alright while everything around them was burned to the ground, some small fires still on around them.
She looked down and saw bucky crouched down wrapped tightly around her, "Buck, its okay" she said putting her hand on his head. He looked up and stood back up.
"you saved us... Again" he kissed her and cheers were heard around them, "fucking finally" Sam sighed "Language!"
"Don't language me Rogers" sam retorted Lex smiled into the kiss before pulling back. the protective bubbles disappeared and everyone hugged each other.
"you did that" wanda said with a proud smile "I did that" Lex nodded also feeling the pride.
yeah she did that, she saved them and she was finally free.
"Let's go home" she said and they all formed a circle intertwining their hands, Lex teleported them all back.
she, Alexis, the voodoo, saved their asses, killed the ones who ruined her, got her revenge, got to be with the ones she loves and she also brought them all back home safe. oh and not to forget she found her family.
