22-the stuffed bunny

They got dressed putting their masks into their pockets just in case. And made their way out walking hand in hand over to the caravan where their suspects were staying.

They chatted amongst themselves making it look like they were just a couple going for an afternoon stroll. They looked around to check if the couple was home but they weren't and so they made their way onto the porch.

Bucky send a quick look around but there were no by standers before he tried to open the door which ofcourse wouldn't budge.

"here let me" Lex spoke before waving her hand over the lock and pulling down the handle, this time the door opened, bucky was still surprised by what the girl could do with her powers.

"over here, and put your mask on just in case" he spoke motioning for the room with the boxes. "it is locked as well" he said and Lex waved her hand making the door fly open.

"Tony said it was only one box" bucky spoke looking through the boxes they al contained different files.

Lex was going through a box labeled 'the voodoo and the wintersoldier'. She found a weathered looking notebook and opened it, her name was written on the first page in her hand writing, she quickly put the note book in the inside pocket of her jacket.

"buck take a look at this" she said and Bucky walked over to the box, it was full of video tapes, photos and files, one other thing caught Bucky's eyes, it was a very old looking stuffed bunny. He grabbed it and looked at the tag 'for Al'

"Look what I got you" the soldier said, having sneaked into the girls holding cell again. He always had duty to make sure the girl wouldn't escape, the girl was already handcuffed to the bedframe and he would uncuff her everynight so she could sleep okay, and he would cuff her to the bed again each morning before dr marlo came to check up on them.

The girl looked at the soldier with wide eyes, he had a stuffed bunny in his hands. "for you to hold when I am not there to help you after a night mare" he said and the girl hugged him.

"thank you star"

Bucky looked up from the bunny and to the girl, he was put under ice to recover while the girl was stuck with hydra, a feeling of guilt washed over him, he was saved while the little girl was still tortured by hydra.

When he woke up he had lost his memory so he didn't remember the girl, that was until he saw the necklace around her neck that one night, he remembered her face and that she had something to do with hydra.

His mind connected her in the worst way possible, a hydra spy. But the girl was far from that. The guilt he felt was almost unbearable.

"hey its star my bunny" the girl spoke getting him out of his trance. "you remember it" the soldier noted and she nodded. "yeah I remember holding it when I would wake up after a night mare, I remember it smelled like someone important but I don't know who that is or who gave it to me" she spoke truthfully. The soldier nodded hiding the disappointment.

"would you look at that" someone spoke behind them Alex quickly grabbed Bucky's hand wanting to teleport away but before she reached him they where both shot with tranquilizer.

she fell to the floor the bunny still clutched in her hand, she looked bucky in the eyes before her eyes shut closed.

"sorry to interrupt your little moment" is the first thing they heard when they slowly got back to earth. Lex opened her eyes slowly, they were in some sort of hydra base tied onto a chair each their backs against each other. "buck" she whispered "I'm here" he mumbled she felt his human fingers stroke her hand which was tied to the leg of the chair.

She interlocked their fingers and looked around the room. some sort of guards were standing next to Alice and Ronald.

Ronald took a step closer to them "the voodoo, and the wintersoldier, lovely couple" he told the people in the room, "always have been" he spoke, both of them knew what he had meant with that.

"what a shame it must end like this" Alice spoke stepping closer. Alex tried to make her fly into the wall but her powers wouldn't budge, she didn't even feel that tingle she used to have.

"oh honey, that won't work" Alice spoke in a fake caring voice. "while you were still in the hands of hydra, you know when you where just a little girl, the doctor made special bracelets for you, now you can't do anything with your powers, turning invisible won't work, and whatever you tried to do also won't work" she spoke. And alex groaned "Fuck" she mumbled and she felt bucky squeeze her hand.

Alice suddenly bent back and seemed to listen to something. "ah I just got the message that dr arlo arrived, we are going to welcome him, jeff, Chris, make sure nothing happens while we are gone" she spoke to the two guards before she made her way out with Ronald.

"this can't get any worse can it" bucky whispered looking at the two guards across from them. "sure it can just give me a moment" she spoke.

"huh what- Lex don-" she cut him off by yelling "hey there big guys, you really think you are winning now that you have catched us, pathetic" she spat.

The two guards looked at them with a dangerous look. "Alex! Now is really not the time" the soldier scolded but she didn't care.

The guards started walking over to them one of them was holding a knife. "if you don't shut that pretty little mouth of yours we will cut it off" he said and lex snickered.

"with such a tiny knife, you will need a bigger one to scare me away" she chuckled.

Bucky Looked over his shoulder at the two guards standing infront of Alex when the one with the knife swung his arm out, he closed his eyes not wanting to see it.

Alex grabbed his hand a little thigther and teleported them out of there. "YES! It worked Haha it worked" she yelled when she looked over at the field.

Bucky was confused and decided to open his eyes, he jumped back a little when he saw they were in a field. "HOW THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT AND WHY DIDN'T YOU DO THAT SOONER INSTEAD OF PISS THEM OFF" he yelled still in shock.

"but what's the fun in that" she smirked and started walking away. "you're insane!!" he yelled and she turned around with a big smile. "I know isn't it great!"

She turned back around and kept walking, "where are you going?" he asked jogging up to her.

"hell most likely" she said and the Soldier let out a small laugh at the girls antics. "seriously where are you going?" he asked. "home" she said before grabbing his hand and teleporting them to the compound.
