You're enough- sleeping at last

When we woke up the world was figured out
Beyond the beauty we've dreamt about
This brilliant light is brighter than we've known
Without our darkness to prove it so

Still, we can't help but to examine it
To add our question marks to periods
At the foot of our bed, we found an envelope...

You're enough, you're enough, you're enough, you are enough
These little words, somehow they're changing us
You're enough, you're enough, you are enough
So we let our shadows fall away like dust

When we grew up, our shadows grew up too
But they're just some old ghosts
That we grew attached to
The tragic flaw is that they hide the truth

That you're enough, you're enough, you're enough
I promise you're enough, you're enough, you're enough
I promise you're enough, you're enough, you're enough
I promise you

You're enough, you're enough, you're enough, you are enough
These little words, somehow they're changing us
You're enough, you're enough, you are enough
So we let our shadows fall away like dust

You're enough, you're enough, you are enough
These little words, somehow they're changing us
Let it go, let it go, you are enough
So we let our shadows fall away like dust

Everyone went on the mission except for Alex, oh and bucky who was assigned to 'babysit' as she called it.

"you are the only one who can keep her under control" is what tony had said.

"I just don't understand it" Alex said frustratingly. She was pacing around the living room while bucky was sat on the couch.

It was getting dark outside so Alex looked at the lights and they turned on "wait you can just make things happen?" Bucky said.

"yeah I could just" she looked bucky in the eyes which widened when the wilted flowers came to life behind her.

"but that's not the point, the point is that I am capable of doing so much more then what everyone thinks, but I can't fucking control it" she said but bucky was still processing what he just saw.

"wait what more can you do?" he asked and Lex finally sat down. "I don't really know but I just have this feeling I can do more than this"

She shrugged it off before going back to pacing. "I just ugh, I wish I was enough" she said and the soldier saw a tear slip down her cheek.

"hey, hey, you are enough" he tried to calm her down but she just shook her head

"then why is everyone doubting me and my abilities" she yelled through tears walking into the kitchen, Bucky following after her

"they don't doubt you for your abilities they doubt you for your insecurities, they believe you can do it, but you yourself are doubting and that makes you unable to do it, which make you unreliable" he explained before random loose things in the room started to float up.

"But I don't think I'm enough"

He ran over and put his hands on her shoulders "come with me" he said and grab her hand in his. "where are we going?" she asked following behind making all loose objects in the hallway floath up. "to the rooftop, you need to calm down and you need to realise how far you've come" he said and before he knew it she teleported them to the rooftop.

"sorry this is just faster" she shrugged walking over to the edge and sitting down, her feet dangling over the railling. bucky hesistantly took a seat next to her.  "look at all these lights" she said looking over the dark city.
