Once you care, you're fucked.

She left; she left me

She left; she left me.

I tried so hard to distract my heart from missing them, but I am missing her.

Her touch, her smile, her scent, her grace, her passion, her everything. Fucking everything about her made me smile and got me angry: all at the same time.

No one ever warns you about love. Love is a crazy thing to describe. Yet, love drives you crazy. It drove me crazy and protective of her.

The ringing of her phone caught my attention. Not wanting to pick it up, because I trust her. So, I thought. Then I heard his voice. My body froze. My skin curled, as it went to voice mail.

"Hey Aideen, it's Johnson. We have news about Harrison and his operation. I am hoping to see you soon to discuss this issue. Don't forget about our date. See you soon dearest, Cheers."

The phone line went dead.

Date? What the fuck! Johnson? Who is he?! My operation? She spying on me! Date? This bitch is cheating on me!

Removing my hand off her thigh, feeling disgusted by her presence. I gripped the steering wheel. Who the fuck is Johnson, and why is he hoping to see her soon? Who calls her dearest? Why does he have news about me? Does she have a spy watching me, behind my back? A fucking traditor.

Rage filled in me, having a sense she was fucking playing with me; Not knowing it would come true. My overthinking of being used as a toy was right. I was just a toy to her.

"So, as I was saying," I carried on with the boardroom meeting as Aideen stood up and left.

On our date, I never felt so comfortable with her. Or anyone. I didn't sleep with anyone, during our time apart. Wanting to distract myself from her with other girls; I tried. But every time I tried; they weren't her. They made me feel angry when I was around them, but Aideen. She is something different.

But she moved on quite easily with Johnson.

After the decision on what our plan would be, I headed to the kitchen to get some water to rehydrate from the whiskey. Walking into the kitchen, the moonlight shined over the island from the basin's window on the right. Below the basin, on the floor, Aideen sat - crying?

Walking up to her, squatting down. Her head shot up to me, bug and bight. Her tears stopped falling, filling her eyes. She blushed pink, feeling small under my gaze. "What the fuck is wrong with you?" I asked, standing up, and looking down at her. Feeling no remorse for a cheater.
