○Dear Journal (n.)○
I have a crush on your mind. I fell for your personality. Your looks are just a bonus
Back from Willamette National Forest. Driving back to Christiana's house to picked up Aideen. Getting out of the car and saw Aideen walking down the stairs, she looked so beautiful as the sun hit her hair, shinning like rose gold. Her blue eyes glowed underneath the light.
It's been so long; I really missed her.
She walked down the stairs, towards me. "Hey" her sweet voice spoke. "Hi" I smiled back. We looked at each other in the eyes. She is so beautiful. So gorgeous. She is everything and more. "Uhm. Let me help you", snapped out of my thoughts and took Aideen bags from her. "Oh, thank you" She seemed so nervous around me now?
"Hey, you two," Christiana said gently punching me on the shoulder, then leaning against me, with her bent arm on my shoulder. "Uhm?" I question Christiana. Christiana pointed her index finger towards Aideen and I, switching between us. "So, you two better behave on the plane to Texas - It's a 2-hour flight, I think they won't kill each other for 2 hours." Jack interrupted Christiana.
"Okay, I think we should go before, we are late for the flight" Aideen nodded and headed to the passenger side. "Okay, behave Aideen," Christiana spoke waving goodbye in the air, "Will do mom" She sarcastically said with a smile to Christiana.
Jack walked up behind me "Remember we found Fernando's clues that he left at the Warehouse. His clothes and footprints had traces of Linoleic acid. Which is predominantly found in Sunflower oil. So, he might be at a farm or at the supplier. Just look out." Jack whispered in my ear.
I do not want to concern Aideen about Fernando right now. I know she killed him, but it was only a body double that looked like him. We do DNA tests on the charred bodies. It was like attempting to locate a needle in a haystack.
Finally, we found no sign of Fernando's DNA - Dr Ilango Marris performed his autopsy. He was beheaded with an axe by Jack, shortly after chopped off a few Limps. I'll tell her shortly, but I want her to unwind and take a vacation from work as we reconnect.
"It's good that you got us out of there" I chuckled as I got in the car. "Yes, Christiana sometimes never stops talking" Aideen giggled. "Yea" - an awkward silence came between us; as I continued to drive to the airport.
The urgency to leave for the farm stemmed from our strategy in the stock market—we needed to maintain our grip on food distribution. Just as the cartels in Mexico dominate the growth and distribution of avocados across the Avo belt that stretches from Northwest Africa, including Guinea, Mali, and Ghana, all the way to Mexico, we operate on a different scale.
