I sat there patiently waiting for Damian to show up. I basically sat for 15 minutes twiddling my thumbs, I checked my phone to see if he texted me-nope. Nothing.

I decieded to message Ezra and tell him that Damian wasn't coming but just before I could press on send, the chimes on the door chimed and in came Damian. The second he stepped in he swept in a cold gust of wind, just like his aura. He looked around to see if I was here so I stood up and then he spotted me.

"Hey, sorry I got late." He said sitting down.

"That's ok."

"Where's your uniform?" He asked.

"Oh, I changed before you came. I would've looked weird if I didn't." I said quickly saving my ass.

"That's true." He nodded.

"So, would you like to go and give our orders first before it gets packed in here?" I asked.

"Sure, what would you like?" He asked.

"I'll go for the caramel latte." I said smiling.

"Alright, one caramel latte coming right up." I laughed and watched him give our order. He came back after a short two minutes. "Here you go." He gave me my latte. "And I also brought some danishes." he said.

"Wait, wasn't coffee on me?" I asked.

"Yah, but I'd feel awkward having a girl pay for my coffee." He replied.

"I believe in gender equality mister." I coughed.

"Oh no, don't take it the wrong way."

"Yah, yah. I know what you mean. You just didn't want your 'man pride' taken from you." I laughed.

"Whatever floats your boat." he grinned.

I took a sip of my coffee and stared out the window. For a moment, we didn't really know what to say to each other. We were strangers, but my job is to make that status at least change into friends. He cleared his throat which brought my attention back to him. I got lost in all his features, you can't blame me he is very attractive. While I gave a soft stare he gave a cold stare suddenly I felt uncomfortable.

"So, what's your story?" His voice snapped me out of the glare.

"What do you mean?" I narrowed my eyes at him.

"You know. Like your life story, so that I could get to know you better." He explained.

"Oh, well. Um." I froze, I didn't know what to say. But then I remembered what Sir had said. Everything is the same, all of your background information will be the same as your normal life for this mission.

"Well," I swallowed. "I'm studying business at the University of Toronto, though I stay at home not on campus. I live with both of my parents and,"

"Little birdie didn't want to fly away from home?" He smirked, I looked at him directly in his eyes and nervously grinned.

"I guess you can say that."

"And you do realize you already told me that this morning, right?"

"Oh I did?" So stupid I AM SO STUPID! Why am I so nervous, calm down Nadia.

"What about your siblings? Unless you're an only child." He sipped his coffee. That's when a lump had formed in my throat and I averted eye contact. I didn't want to let my emotions get the best of me.

Holding myself together, I took a sharp breath, "Ethan," I paused, trying to push myself to continue but I hesitated a bit. "He passed away." I looked down at my hands that lazily rested on my lap.
