~~~Present Time~~~
After telling Ezra my depressing love story we were called down to eat dinner.
"So what are the sleeping arrangements?" Ezra winked at Lucy.
"I will be sleeping with my best friend, in her room. And you can sleep in the other room." Lucy replied.
I started giggling when Ezra made puppy dog eyes. You could clearly tell how desperate he was to sleep with her.
"I don't mind if you two slept together, just don't moan too loud." I laughed, Lucy blushed.
"No, it's ok Nads. I'll sleep with you." She repeated.
"Ok." I stuck my tongue out at Ezra who pouted.
"OK, children. I made some home made bread, pasta and corn. There's some salad on the side." my mom said as she walked into the dining room.
"Wow, Mrs. Mallory. It looks so good." Ezra said, already drooling over the food.
"Oh thank you Ezra, and please call me mom." She smiled sweetly.
"I would love to." He replied.
"Alrighty then. Dinners ready?" My dad walked in ogling at the food. "Let's dig in."
After our ddelicious meal and funny stories at the table my mother asked me to help put away the dishes.
"Nadia," My mother looked at me as I put the dishes in the dishwasher. "I'm so happy that you came back honey. Your father and I missed you so much."
"I know mom, I did too. But remember I'm here on a mission." I reminded.
"I know sweety, I know. But I just can't express how happy I am to finally see my baby's face." She said almost tearing up,
"Mom, don't start crying." I warned.
"Here are some more dishes, these are the last ones." Lucy came in the kitchen.
"Oh thanks Luce. Just set them down here."
"What's wrong Aunt Tasha?" My mom's nickname Tasha was given by my lovely friends of course. But my mom actually liked it so I guess it's ok.
"Nothing sweety, I'm just really happy to have Nadia back." When she said that I looked at Lucy and sorta spoke with my eyes.
I was trying to say that she can't have such high hopes. I'm not going to stay here forever now.
"Ok mom," I gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Good night."
"Good night baby." She gave me a kiss as well as Lucy.
We were upstairs and found Ezra readily sitting on my bed as if he were a little child waiting for a bed time story.
"What do you think you're doing here Mr.?" Lucy asked as she put her hands on her waist.
"I'm protesting." Ezra replied.
"Stop being a baby." she teased.
"If you really want to sleep with her I don't mind." I said.
"No, I want to sleep with you. I haven't seen you in so long, I'm going to spend each and every second with you now." Lucy said.
"Even when I'm in the shower?" I asked laughing.
"If it has to come to that," she crossed her arms trying to be serious, "then yes."
"Ok." I laughed.
"Can you finish your story about Evan?" Ezra asked.
I sighed. "Fine."
"So basically we broke up due to the circumstances. I didn't want him to feel tied down to me, like what if he could've met a girl even better than me in England? So I did what was right and let him go, because I love him." I said all that while looking down at my hands, I didn't want to cry but I felt the heartache and that was all because I still love him.
