Wedding Day
I can't believe it. I am getting married.
I am getting married today, right now. This is actually happening. Oh no...
I ran to the bathroom and threw up. The thought of getting married was happy, exciting, scary, nerve-racking, and I started to doubt everything. Is this the right thing to do?
You know what, I seriously don't need to question this marriage. I am getting married to someone who loves me more than I love him. How lucky could I be. I know that he would do nothing but cherish me and love me unconditionally. I think it's just the nerves talking. I can do this. It's not like I'm marrying a stranger.
"Hair and make up is here." Lucy announced as she entered my room.
All my brides maids were getting ready with me and within 2 hours we would be heading down to the venue to take our pictures before the guests arrive.

"Are you ready?" Mom asked as she put on my veil.
I took in a deep breath, "Yes."
She stopped and stared at me for a moment. "Do you remember, when you were little, you always used to talk about your wedding. 'I want white roses and a super long dress.'" She giggled softly.
"Yah, I remember." I smiled.
There was a silence.
A comfortable silence.
"Mama." I said.
"mhm." She hummed.
"I love you." I said. "And I know how much you and Dad had to give up to let me be who I am. I owe everything to you."
"Sweetheart, we are so proud of you." She held me in her arms. "I cannot tell you how happy we are for you baby." She sniffled.
"Mom don't cry." I warned.
"Sorry." She looked at me. "I'll go and send in the bridesmaids."
Mom left the room, meanwhile I stood in front of a tall mirror. I immediately could not digest what was going to happen in an hour.
"NADIA!!" All of my bridesmaids came running in their dresses. Maggie, my maid of honour, Ella, Kate, Lucy, and my niece Ella as my flower girl. I eventually decided to have a smaller bridal party.
Evan's best man was his best friend from law school, Charles. The rest of his groomsmen consisted of Ezra, John, and Nate who is our mutual friend.
"Guys, your dresses look so gorgeous!" I was so happy with how they all turned out. Their hair and make up looked even better.
We made our way the own the stairs of the beautiful chalet type of building. We decided to have our wedding at the Glendon, its a golf course with beautiful rolling hills and a tranquil lake in the back. Everyone was seated on the outside of the chalet style building. There were flowers everywhere, just how I wanted. White, light pinks, and purple coloured flowers. A few weeping willow trees were surrounding us to create a mystical atmosphere around us all.

Evan's p.o.v
There she was, dressed in white, looking beautiful than ever. This is happening, this is actually happening. We had been waiting so long for this moment. I knew that she was the one for me.
The perfect fit.
I love everything there is to love about her, and I have accepted everything little quirky thing there is to her. Nadia Mallory will finally be my wife.
Everyone stood up as she music started playing and she walked down the aisle with little Ella gently throwing white and red rose petals in the path. I gave her smile and she gave me a toothy grin, then she gave me a hug which caused everyone to giggle a bit.
She's coming, she's coming, she's coming. She's finally here.
My heart started racing. I felt like she could hear it too. Her father lifted her veil, gave her a hug and kiss on her cheek, then put her hands in mine. I held her gentle soft hands and her knowing me very well, sensed my nervousness and gave me a squeeze. Her bridesmaids were all lined up to the side and my groomsmen to my side. And so the ceremony began.

Nadia's p.o.v
Can he hear my heart beating so loudly? I am so nervous, everyone is watching us. I can see Ryan, I feel like he's burning holes. Inviting him was a bad idea.
Oh my gosh, Evan's hands are sweaty. He's nervous too. I gave his hands a reassuring squeeze and he gave me a charming smile.
When it came time to exchange our vows, Evan went first.
"Nadia, I believe in you, the person you will grow to be and the couple we will be together. With my whole heart, I take you as my wife, acknowledging and accepting your faults and strengths, as you do mine. I promise to be faithful and supportive and to always make our family's love and happiness my priority. I will be yours in plenty and in want, in sickness and in health, in failure and in triumph. I will dream with you, celebrate with you and walk beside you through whatever our lives may bring. You are my person—my love and my life, today and forever." He said this while looking into my soul, his piercing green eyes. I teared up with so much joy and happiness and all the sweet things he said to me. I was speechless. But it was my turn to exchange vows.
"Evan, you are my lover and my best friend, you are my model and my accomplice. I will hold you and honour you, I will respect you, encourage you and cherish you, in health and sickness, through sorrow and success, for all the days of my life. I promise to love and care for you, and I will try in every way to be worthy of your love. I will always be honest with you, kind, patient and forgiving. But most of all, I promise to be a true and loyal friend to you. I love you."
"You may now kiss the bride." Said the wedding officiant. Evan didn't wait a moment longer. He dove in for a passionate kiss.
A kiss he had been waiting for, for as long as he could remember. And as for me.
I couldn't have been happier. He truly is my soulmate. We were always meant to be.
