I woke up to sounds of birds chirping and the sun slowly peeking out of the clouds. After stretching and changing into my running clothes I headed out for my morning jog. Going down my normal path I met up with Damian.

"Hey." I smiled. I noticed he brought his dog Tiger with him. We sat down on the bench on the trail.

"Hey there bud." I pet the cute little thing. He looked like he was in much better mood.

"Isn't he cute?" Damian smiled.

"Yea, and he looks like he's in a good mood too. I think it's cause of you." I looked up at him since I was crouched down playing with Tiger while he sat on the bench. "Look at you big boy." I spoke as if Tiger were a little child. "You're a good boy, look at that smile." I grinned at him. He looked so much better now that he has a home.

"Wanna go for a jog?" Damian asked.

"Sure. Let's go." I smiled at him then Tiger.

We jogged for about 10 minutes then we started brisk walking.

"So you are going to come over after class today right?"

"Of course I am." I smiled. "Is it something important?" I asked.

He took a minute to answer. "Well, it depends in what you consider important?"

I didn't say anything, waiting for him to continue speaking but he didn't. "I'm sure it's something positive, right?" I asked.

"Oh, yeah don't worry its nothing serious." He lightly laughed.

We walked around the trail and ended up where we met at the bench.

"Ok Damian, i'll see you after class." I said. "Bye Tiger." I waved at him as he sat there with a big smile. Yes, dogs smile. Well, at least I think they do.

University of Toronto

"Hello, I'm Nadia Mallory." I shook the deans hand.

"What a pleasure to meet you Nadia, I'm Maya Moran. You can call me Maya." She smiled. "Please, take a seat." She gestured.

I was in her office, getting all my classroom schedules as well as speaking to here about why I am here.

"So Nadia, how are you?"

"I am great. I'm so happy to back in Toronto." I smiled. Maya nodded her head knowingly.

"I was honoured, in a way, when I found out that our university is going to part of such a mission. If there are any problems involving your professors or your classmates you can come and tell me." She assured.

"I will let you if anything like that happens. And on behalf of ICA I'd like to thank you so much for letting me enroll into your university."

After speaking with Maya Moran I went to my first lecture hall. Looking around the hall I found the professor at his desk arranging some papers, preparing for the class. As I approached him he suddenly looked up at me and meet my eyes and smiled. He was young, I expected someone really old, but he was the complete opposite of that.

"An early student? Not something you see everyday." He extended his arm. "I'm professor Bryant."

I shook his hand, "Nice to meet you. I'm Nadia Mallory."
