I had reached the headquarters and as usual Ezra, my big brother, my best friend, my ride or die, would wait for me outside the building and take me to his apartment, until I get my next mission. I entered through the main doors and walked down a long hallway. The headquarters had a very modern contemporary and futuristic feel to it. It smelled like a mix of sterile hospitals and cologne. Weird description? I tried my best.

"Ezra!" I ran towards him like a bull.

"NADS!!!!" He almost yelled in the middle of the hallway. I gave him the biggest hug ever, I think I stopped his blood from circulating.

"Come one, let's get you inside." He smiled. "I'll meet you there in about 10 minutes. Boss wants to see you alone first." He wiggled his eyebrows which made me giggle like a child.

I gave him another hug and he began to walk towards another side of the building.

After coming across the security checkpoint; I had to give my thumb print on a glass screen and then it scanned my eyes.

"Agent. Nadia Mallory." The female computer voice spoke in a monotoned voice. As soon as she said my name, a green light appeared above the opaque glass doors and the doors made a 'swoosh' sound when they opened.

"Agent Mallory." I turned to source of the voice to see my boss, Tom Reid, smiling proudly at me. His hands behind his back.

"Sir." I smiled and shook his hand.

"Great job, I heard that the New York mission was successful." He stood tall with his chest puffed out a little. He had Grey, almost white, short hair and a clean shave. He was old, but he stayed fit.

"Thank you sir. I actually enjoyed nabbing the drug dealers." I laughed and he laughed even louder. (Almost like Santa Claus)

"So are you ready for your next mission?" He asked.

"I was born ready sir."

"Glad to hear. Follow me to the Screen room." He advanced and I followed him.

"After you." He opened the door for me.

"Thank you." The screen room was like a board room or meeting room for our boss and agents to discuss things alone or to speak altogether at once.

"Alright Agent Mallory, please take a seat." I sat down on the off white chairs and crossed my legs with both of my arms resting on the arm rests. As sir opened his laptop Ezra walked in through the door and exchanged greetings with sir.

Ezra gave me a quick smile and looked towards the flat screen TV which displayed whatever was on sir's laptop.

He typed something on his laptop and my next mission popped up.

"This is Damian Knight." He presented as he sat down on his chair. I studied my next criminal's face very carefully.

"He's 26 years old, 6 foot 1. He's from Wisconsin, or that's at least what our sources tell us. He joined a gang when he was 17, but shockingly did finish high school with an 88% average. He continued his education at a college in his hometown, it was believed that it was business related. Knight left his gang and began to travel as a lone wolf, he's believed to have attempted to hack major companies in Seattle. So he has a way with technology." I nodded my head as he spoke. Smart guy, 88% average, good looks, nice physique. Why did he have to become a criminal? "His current motive is believed to be hacking into the Canadian Mint. In order to prevent that from happening you need to distract him and find who else is part of this plan."

"So where is my next destination?" I asked. Sir gave me a smile, I was confused. I looked over at Ezra and he was smiling as well.

"Am I missing something?" I asked genuinly.

Sir shook his head. "Your next destination is Toronto." He continued to smile.

I couldn't believe it, I was actually going back to Toronto! I'm finally going to see my parents again. My mouth hung open for the longest time, I was literally speechless.

"I- I don't know what to say sir."

"I'm glad you're happy to go back, but remember that you will be on a mission. Make sure you don't get distracted." He said firmly.

"Of course sir." I assured.

"Now, you will live with your parents and you will keep your name age background, everything will be the same. When you encounter him, you will say that you are working part time at a coffee shop and go to University of Toronto to study business. Basically what you have told your friends and relatives." He walked across the room to pick up a grey file and handed it over to me. "This has all of the times for your schedule and for your classes, I have already spoken to the dean and he says that he will manage everything. If there are any problems, then you can speak to the dean and he will take care of it."

"Well, at least I will get to experience a normal university." I laughed, sir replied with a chuckle.

"Now there is one more surprise, Ezra, will be your neighbour." My eyes grew even wider, and looked towards Ezra. I smiled brightly at him.

"This is going to be a fun mission."

"I guessed that Ezra could provide a little more protection for you." Sir added. I nodded my head extremely over joyed.

"I will have everything set up in the house next door, so it will serve as a mini headquarters for you." Ezra added.

"Now, Nadia," Sir said with a firm tone as he sat down from across me. Whenever he used my first name, it would always be about something serious. He has played a father figure for me for the few years that I had spent away from home. And he knew that.

"This mission can be very dangerous, we don't know how dangerous this man is, you have to be very careful. In the past many agents have failed to catch him. But I believe in you." He spoke. I nodded my head.

"Sir, I won't fail you."

"You never have." He smiled.
