Lan Wangji, Wei Wuxian and Jiang Wanyin were classmates and best friends in school. Later Lan Wangji and Jiang Wanyin went to a business school and Wei Wuxian studied Arts. Lan Wangji loved and wanted to marry Wei Wuxian from his teenage years. So as soon as he joined his family business after completing his studies he proposed to Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian did not delay to response and they got married quickly. Their quick marriage surprised many people. Some predicted that it will not last more than a couple of years because Wangji and Wuxian were two totally different kinds of people. Some people said that Wangji could never tolerate a shameless and flirtatious person like Wuxian for very long. Some people said that a lively person like Wuxian could never be happy with a boring and cold person like Wangji.

But the reality was reverse. Wangji and Wuxian were happy and satisfied in their married life. Apart from some minor issues their married life was smooth. Jiang Wanyin was close to both of them and he regularly visited them. Wangji's elder brother Lan Xichen started liking Jiang Wanyin and asked him to be his boyfriend. Initially Wanyin refused but later he realized Xichen's sincerity and accepted his offer.

Wuxian loved to watch movies, specially romantic and Mythological movies. Wangji did not like to go to the theater so they usually watched movies on their home theater. But sometime Wangji went with Wuxian to watch movies in theaters. One weekend Wuxian got two tickets for a long waited Mythological movie based on Ramayana and Wangji agreed to go with him. But a sudden business meeting required Wangji's presence that same day.

"Xianxian, this meeting is really important, I can't avoid it," he said.

"Gege can attend it in your place," Wei Wuxian said.

"Both gege and I must attend this meeting. Even he can't avoid it," replied Lan Wangji.

"Should I cancel the tickets then?" Wuxian was sad but he knew that Wangji had other duties to fulfill in his life.

"I have a better idea. Why don't you go with Wanyin, he will be free too," Wangji suggested.

"Oh, yes! Brother Xichen will also be busy tomorrow. Let me call him," Wuxian happily said.

Therefore, Wuxian and Wanyin went to watch the movie together. The movie was good but Wuxian did not like how Shri Ram asked his wife Sita to go into the fire to prove her purity, how he abandoned her while she was pregnant and how he asked her for the second time to prove her purity. He cried during the movie and he even cried after the movie. Jiang Wanyin knew his friend well, so he asked Wuxian to sit on a table of the food court and went to buy foods for him.

Wen Qing, Luo Qingyang (Mianmian) and Jiang Yanli were also best friends from school life and they were in same class with Wuxian, Wangji and Wanyin. From their school life Wen Qing had liked Jiang Wanyin, Mianmian had liked Wei Wuxian and Jiang Yanli had liked Lan Wangji. They had even tried to get close to those three best friends. But those boys had never taken them seriously and maintained a normal friendship with them.

Those three girls had just watched a different movie in that same multiplex and reached the food court to eat. As they entered the area they noticed Wei Wuxian, who was still wiping his eyes. They stopped on their track and saw that Jiang Wanyin brought a tray full of foods with two big chocolate ice-creams and placed them in front of Wei Wuxian. The three girls exchanged looks and walked quietly towards Wuxian and Wanyin.

Wanyin touched the head of Wuxian and said, "Don't be sad any more, stop crying."

"How can I not cry? How could he do that? Was love meaningless to him?" Wuxian said between his sobbing. 

"It is all over already and he had his own reasons," Wanyin said.

"What stupid reasons were those? I do not agree with those meaningless prides. Other people's opinions should have nothing to do with anyone's married life," Wuxian said.

"But that was his decision not yours. And all of those were happened on the past," Wanyin said.

"But..."

"Not another stupid word, eat your food and later I would drop you to your home," said Wanyin.

Wei Wuxian lowered his head and started licking the ice-cream.

Hearing these conversations those three girls thought that Wei Wuxian was crying over his own broken marriage. They got hope for their love life and silently agreed to approach the crying Wei Wuxian.

Wen Qing said, "Hi! what are you doing here?"

Jiang Wanyin said, "Hello! We came to watch a movie. What about you?"

Yanli said, "We watched a movie as well. Where is Lan Wangji?"

"He did not come with us. He is busy," Wanyin replied. 

Wen Qing asked doubtfully, "So only two of you came. Are you dating ?"

"What rubbish? Can't I watch movies with him without dating him?" asked Wanyin.

Mianmian asked, "Wuxian, did your marriage with Lan Wangji end? Did he leave you?"

"What?" Wuxian stopped eating his ice-cream and looked up with confusion.

"I mean, are you divorced? I knew that your marriage with him would not last long," Mianmian said again.

"Why do you think like that Mianmian? Do you think I am not good enough for him?" Lan Wangji stood behind Wei Wuxian and placed his hands on Wuxian's shoulders.

Wei Wuxian was surprised and Happy. "Is your meeting over? Why are you here?" he asked.

"To make sure that no one can snatch you from me," replied Wangji.

Wuxian laughed loudly and said, "Who on the earth can do that?" Then he pulled Wangji and made him sit beside him.

" Where is Xichen? Didn't he come with you?" Wanyin asked frowning.

"No, he is still busy. He has a flight in an hour." Wangji replied maintaining his straight face.

"Where is he going?" Wanyin asked.

"It's a business trip," replied Wangji.

"When will he come back?" Wanyin asked again.

"Not in a week," replied Wangji.

"And he did not think that he should inform me about that," Wanyin angrily said. 

"He was busy in the meeting," Wangji replied.

"He doesn't care about me. I am going to break up with him." Wanyin was really furious.

"So, you want to break up with me?" asked Xichen.

"Xichen!" Shouted Wanyin. Lan Xichen was standing behind Wanyin the whole time. Wei Wuxian was unable to hold anymore, he started laughing like a lunatic. Lan Wangji held one of his hand and sat there with a straight face. He was happy as Wei Wuxian forgot about the movie and laughed. Jiang Wanyin attacked Xichen with his fists. Xichen took all the hits on his chest and then kissed Wanyin's forehead.

"Stop laughing, your ice-cream is melting." Wangji pushed one spoon of ice-cream into Wuxian's mouth. Wuxian started eating his ice-cream again and Lan Wangji watched him attentively. Wen Qing, Luo Qingyang and Jiang Yanli slowly withdrew themselves from those loving couples. Their faces were dark and they left the food court without eating anything.
