Lu Bixing was a professor in computer science engineering. He was doing his advanced research work on artificial intelligence. Lin Jingheng was a student of final (fourth) year. Prof. Lu was teaching them since they were in second year. Many boys and girls were attracted to Prof. Lu for his charming character and handsomeness. Others were interested in him because of Zhanlu. Zhanlu was an AI created by Prof. Lu. Zhanlu looked like a handsome man in his twenties. Without prior knowledge no one could identify him as an AI at a glance.

Lin Jingheng was mesmerized when he attended the first lecture of Prof. Lu. They way he spoke, the way he looked and the way he smiled all seemed too beautiful to him. And he could not move his eyes from the professor. From that day he never missed a single class of Mr. Lu. Later he came to know about Prof. Lu's field of researches, which boosted his enthusiasm and he dreamt about working with Prof. Lu in the future. While other boys and girls of his class were dating each other, involving in short term relationships he was dreaming about his lifelong partnership with Prof. Lu. And when he met Zhanlu for the first time, he felt that artificial intelligence was the right choice for his future. He was confident that if he could assist Prof. Lu, the research work would progress better.

As Lin Jingheng worked hard and his luck did not abandon him at the critical moment, he got the chance to do a project work under Prof. Lu's guidance. Lin Jingheng went to Prof. Lu's laboratory to report and requested him to assign the project. Prof. Lu had already instructed Zhanlu about Lin JIngheng's project work. Zhanlu took Jingheng to the area where he would to the project and handed him the related material.

Lin Jingheng wanted to talk to Prof. Lu for long but could not as the professor was busy. But Zhanlu was going in and out helping the other junior researchers in their work. Zhanlu had a swift body; therefore he could reach instantly wherever he was needed. After working for some time Lin Jingheng went to Prof. Lu to show his idea.

Prof. Lu was impressed with his ideas. He looked at the handsome young man and said, "I think your idea is good. You can proceed with this. You will get any information related this from Zhanlu. I will ask Zhanlu to answer your questions. I have lectures and other works, so I would not be always here. You should feel free to ask Zhanlu whenever you face any problem."

"Thank you, sir." Lin Jingheng went to attend lectures.

For the next two months Lin Jingheng went to Prof. Lu's laboratory whenever he got time partly because he wanted to do his project work and partly because he wanted to spend time near Prof. The professor had permitted Zhanlu to answer the questions of Lin Jingheng. And Jingheng used it to gather personal information about the professor. Therefore Jingheng came to know that Prof. Lu was single and lived only with Zhanlu. He had no family member and no close friends. He even asked about professor's likes and dislikes.

Professor Lu was busy in his work and occasionally checked Jingheng's works. One day he was checking Zhanlu's work history and found that Zhanlu had talked about his personal life to Jingheng. Prof. Lu came to know that Jingheng was interested in him. He wondered about the reason for that. Could it be that Jingheng was a spy from any of his competitors? But Jingheng never asked about his works; he only gathered information about his personal life. What did he want?

Prof. Lu decided that he would confront Jingheng next day. Jingheng came during the lunch break. He greeted the professor and started working on his project. Prof. Lu observed him for a while from far and then went near him. He silently reached there and stood behind Jingheng. Jingheng did not notice anything as he was working sincerely. But he had made it a habit to peek on Prof. Lu once in a while. Therefore Jingheng raised his head to peek on the professor. But he could not see him on his usual spot. He then looked here and there and realized there was actually someone standing behind him. He looked back and was shocked to find the professor there. He was startled and stood up hurriedly. But he lost his footing and started falling down.
