TW Physical Abuse, not super major, but it's there.

~~~
!! The abductees of the group all flinched at the pain, as if it was their own, when the sound of the whip hitting it's targets resonated through the 'Back Yard'. Everyone was silent, as Gold half-purposefully fell to the ground, partially to try and avoid another hit. Bonnie soon did the same when the whip came back down on him also. Puppet and Ella were both standing in front of Mina, while she held Carl as he tried to help calm her down. **
After standing by the abuse from the ringmaster for what felt like an eternity, Charles finally stopped, and looked to the team's choreographer--Kimmy. Walking closer to her, frustration still radiating from his person, White started with, "Those two animals need more work before tomorrow night's show." Briefly looking over his shoulder to Bonnie and Gold--who were being sniffed at and kisses by a worried Pippin--the Ringmaster continued. "If you need to use my whip, tell me and I'll let you borrow it." With that, the human left to get out of his traditional Ringmaster getup, but not before shouting at the golden doodle to leave the two alone.
Then, the six were escorted to their 'prison tent' by Sami, Jack and Kimmy for the night.
The three quadruplet sisters had been siting quietly together with a small stack of white papers, and colored crayons. Even though all the adults weren't saying much, Lucette, Rosette and Tina had been thinking the same thing. Something had happened to their daddy and sister, which was why they weren't coming home yet. Tina had said to the other two that she'd seen one of the skeleton brothers asking their neighbor if they knew where they were.
So, the three girls decided they would try to help. That was what they had been working on all afternoon. They had drawn multiple drawings of their daddy and sister to be put up in the neighborhood. "Are you done with yours?" Lucette asked from across the sprawled out crayons to Rosette. Nodding while putting the finishing touches on her drawing, Rosette then held up the piece of paper for the others to see. "Let's go show these to Momma." Tina then suggested, as the three gathered up the papers.
Ballora had been sitting quietly at the kitchen table, while the girls were in their room. She'd been constantly worried for her missing husband and daughter for days now, and it was getting tiring. She just wished they'd be found and brought home, where their supposed to be. With the rest of the family. That silent wish brought tears to her magenta eyes again.
The only reason she didn't begin to fully cry again, was because her three other daughters had approached her--each holding papers in their small hands. "Momma?" Lucette spoke up. Ballora was met with the girls' dark eyes looking at her with some sympathy. They could obviously all tell that their mother had practically been crying again. "Are you okay?" Rosette then asked. Wiping her eyes with her hand, Ballora tried answering convincingly with, "Yes, I'm okay sweethearts."
"... We made these." Tina then explained, placing the drawings on the table for Ballora to see. Each draw looked more or less the same. They were of Puppet and Mina, standing beside each other, hands locked. Above each of them were their names, although, they only spelt their sister's right. 'Poppat' and 'Mina'. "You can wite the words for dem, Momma." She explained, as the three watched their mother look them over. "They're lovely." Was all Ballora was able to say in response.
Puppet had long lost count of how many circles he'd rubbed on Mina's back. It was a motion he'd watched Ballora do countless times with their daughters whenever one of them woke up in the night from a nightmare, or if one of them just needed some form of comfort. He figured it'd help soothe Mina's aching body, coaxing her to fall asleep so she could heal--even if she couldn't do so all that much.
While doing so, he was watching Gold and Bonnie trying to get comfortable, despite the fact that they themselves probably still ached from earlier that night. "You sure you guys are okay?" Ella asked, when their stirring had kept her awake. "We'll be fine." Bonnie answered tiredly, before Gold added, " 'S long as we can avoid that in the future." The bear rubbed at his eyes again, as he had been doing ever since they returned to the tent.
"Are your eyes bothering you, Gold?" Puppet asked quietly enough to not wake Mina, but loud enough for his friend to hear. "... Yes." Gold hesitated. "But what can I do?" His dark eyes finally met Puppet's although, they appeared a bit unfocused. Puppet simply sighed in response.
Silence threatened the tent again, when a scuffling sound mixed with animal-like huffs brought everyone's guard back up. The group immediately began looking for the source of the sound, when Carl pointed out what it was, with a, "Cupcake!" From under one of the bars, and through the tent fabric, came Pippin's curly-furred face. "... Pippin?" Bonnie quietly said, as the golden doodle finally snaked his way through the tight space.
Looking utterly proud of himself, Pippin went around the tent to check on everyone and make sure they were okay--as he was sensing the almost overwhelming distress from the room. After everyone had gotten a chance to scratch the sweet dog's ears, Pippin decided to settle next to Bonnie and Gold, as they were his new friends who would do tricks with them.
"I think he likes you guys." Ella commented, with a smirk just shy of a smile. Running his hand down the surprisingly loyal dog's fur, Bonnie answered with, "Guess he does." As Pippin's brown eyes looked at Bonnie contentedly.
