Oh Covid!
On the first month we said,
Ah Covid?
Sarcasm got better at the end.
We washed hands, many a times a day,
We too drank kottamalli, per se.
Precautions made us aware
We threw cautions to the wind, beware!
Ding-dong!
It's Corona at the door.
No, no, no...
We have to live, at least a day more!
When life seemed boring,
We lived complaining.
But Covid pushed the button of pause,
To our breaths too, of course!
First month was too much care,
Sixth month was just aware,
Eighteenth month, we spoke of beware,
As time went by, it was 'no care'!
It's a wonder of how fast the time flies,
Would even beat Bolt, only if it tried,
When Covid took place in our heart,
We gave up our lives, part by part.
It's yet not too late,
You could still vaccinate,
Cause the best way to protect,
Is by doing our part the best.
Two years had passed,
No more death to the grim reaper,
Death toll count is vast,
Do be safer, so please think deeper.
Neither can live,
While the other survives.
Everyone can live,
Cause all of us have to survive.
To win the game of survival,
Help the love, also the rival,
To live with the rest,
Protection is the best.
This is just a virus called Covid,
This period is obviously, short lived,
Of course, in a few years' time,
We'll definitely be like, 'Oho It Was Covid'!
