[A/N: And as you noticed Lumine's pretty much snapped, or rather something did. Ei's about to be dealt the full force of nature that is the Traveler, Lumine. And don't worry, Childe's going to be fine but he's forced to witness a berserk Lumine. I attached a song after a lot of thought would fit here. If this story gets enough love like "I See Your Monsters" I will start up a Lumine x Xiao fanfic. Lets see if we can hit 100 views!!]

..........................................

The ominous and vicious pressure that filled the air much thicker then the Electro Archon's aura ever was. Surrounding Lumine were countless thorn vines that were growing and lashing out with no restraint. Winds howled in vicious twisters as her hand raised gathering electro. All the elements at the blonde traveler's command. "This ends now."

Faster then the Electro Archon thought possible this mortal...no was she even mortal to begin with!? Faster then her mind and body could react wild vines had begun in hot pursuit of her and grabbed her leg. The thorns seems to be giving off some kind of hindering toxin as she slashed through them with ease before they ignited in a brilliant inferno. Cryo was next infused with the violent twisters of anemo the blonde had unleashed with a flick of her sword as she raised her hand that sizzled and crackled with the gathering electro as a sinister smile graced her face.

"Arrogant god whom had failed us in the face of the false stars!"came her voice as it seemed to echo with another, more sinister one.

"What is this?"Childe thought struggling against the sheer agony he was in as his body was still frozen stiff from his wounds and the side effect of his delusion. Damn what had happened to Lumine!? It was like witnessing a rabid animal...no far worse that aura was tainted, corrupted even and her eyes weren't that golden hue he knew so well. It was like staring right into the eyes of the strongest monsters of the Abyss Order. No...it was worse and it sent shivers down his spine and not in a way he liked. But as some of her vines went near him he was shocked to see it actually give off energy that rapidly healed him as the fighting between the shogun and Lumine just left the level of mere mortals.

"Face our wrath!"

Before his eyes Baal stood easily against her but Lumine kept up easily as they were now both but blinding blurs like crashing and colliding stars before his eyes as he struggled to his feet. Lances of cryo icicles shot in a frenzy, a wild sea of dendro vines like whips, twisters becoming infused with pyro, spikes and falling boulders of geo, but it was what she was doing with hydro that shocked the harbinger. She was moving about twisting and turning with a long sword of water. "Hey those are my moves! When the hell did she learn to move like that!?"he thought in shock.

Erm...scratch that.

He had a pretty good idea how.

Lumine had been training and sparing together often since she made that deal with him back in his older apartment with Zhongli as witness. But that contract had been only for as long as she was in Liyue. But they neve let up even when they had left for Inuzuma. Well except on that ride here. He didn't like whatever was happening to Lumine as this did not seem to be her. It was more like something had snapped or had taken over or both. A sort of black and dark red energy was rippling off of the blonde upon closer inspection when she crashed into one of the broken tori gate's pillars. Blood stained her face as it trickled down from a wound to her head from the collision as she stumbled to her feet. Childe saw his chance and raced over to her and grabbed her from behind hold her struggling form close as it began to sizzle and spark with her electro powers.

"Lumine, snap out of it and come back please! I'm alright so please listen to me!"he begged his voice raising in volume. Baal was surprised to see the harbinger standing and ow void of any injuries dealt by her blade. But was even more amazed as the elemental control over dendro, pryo, hydro, and cryo vanished before their eyes as the girl's eyes gained clarity as the teal faded away.

"Ajax, you're alright?"stuttered the blonde as she began to fuss over the young archer.

"Don't mind me, I'm more worried about you. You're really hurt, Lumine!"he was quick to dismiss but Lumine noticed Baal charging right at them from behind Childe's back.

"Oh hell no you're not!"snarled Lumine as she bolted forward before he revealed. This damn shogun was frightening as she and Lumine crossed blades. Lumine came to a halt a few feet behind the shogun only to shriek at the bolt of electro that struck her down, leaving her pretty badly hurt as a result.

"LUMINE!!"Childe hurried over to her as the strange place around them was pulled away, returning them to from where they had whence came. Thoma and Paimon were horrified at the state Lumine was in as the fairy flew over as Childe desperately tried to get her to wake up. "Come on Ojou-chan get up, you gotta get up!"

"Wake up, you gotta wake up!"pleaded Paimon as her beloved friend began to stir with a whimper.

Seeing how desperate the situation was Thoma raced to a near by spear that was embedded into the ground and started trying to cut the rope binding his wrists. "Come on, I gotta hurry."he thought. Ayaka was no doubt a worried wreck back home too and these two whom he looked to as friends had been hurt for his sake. He had to help Tartaglia and Lumine! His efforts grew in pace and desperation as he saw the shogun start walking towards them as Childe held Lumine protectively with one duel blade in hand.

The shogun was about to strike a deadly blow to the trio just as the ropes around Thoma had snapped. The blonde fixer grabbed said spear and tossed it like a knight's javelin straight at the shogun. Forcing her to counter with a shockwave from a lash of her katana that sent the group flying. The shock caused Lumine to awaken with a soundless scream. With Childe supporting her they decided staying would be suicidal so they made a break for it, jumping off the cliff and vanishing from the shogun's line of sight as the storm finally broke as rain fell and thunder crashed.

Thoma lead the way sticking to the shadows of the alleyways. "Thoma?"Thoma looked over as they hid, freezing in place from a patrol that ran by. It had been Lumine that had spoke from how pained it sounded. Her body no longer crackled with electro static as the rain washed the blood and sand and dust from her. But her wounds were laid bare to see and it was concerning.

"Save your energy Ojou-chan. You and Thoma can talk after we're safe and you get help."hushed Tartaglia as he adjust her to carry her on his back.

"Tartaglia-san is right. I'm thankful but we can talk later, this way."Thoma motioned for them to follow once the cost was clear. Staying low they hurried until they had finally reached the back door of the tea house and slipped inside.

"This way!"came a familiar hiss.

They looked over to reveal the source was Ayaka motioning them to follow her and so they did. Heading straight for the a room in the far back and slipped inside. Ayaka signaled to the servants and they made quick work destroying the soaking wet, bloody trail left behind in the halls. Ayakatook one last look as Childe carrying a barely conscious Traveler hurried inside then she closed the sliding door locking it tight.
