"Adopted By" Oneshots!

No! I'm Hibernating!

I decided to mess around with plot generators and write some fluffy little gay oneshots today, hope you enjoy!

Book: Adopted by Heathers Sequel
Cat's Age: In her 20s

"Red..."

"What? Sleep is calling and I must go!" my wife said, burying her head in the pillows. I giggled and said, "You look adorable, but come on. Did you forget we had a newborn? Just get up, it's not that hard!"

"But I'm tired!"

"Yeah, imagine how I feel. I had a 30 hour shift at the hospital last week." I smirked. Red laughed and said, "And who took care of our daughter while you were at that shift?"

"Shirley did, Red..."  I said.

"Shirley isn't even responsible! That doesn't count!" Red said. "Now go away! I'm hibernating!" 

"One, Shirley has two kids of her own, you know that, right? And two, what? It's not even that cold out! And you're not even an animal!" I said. 

Red groaned and mustered up enough energy to sit up, her dirty blonde hair matted and tangled and looking like a bird had built their nest in her hair. 

"I CAN BE WHAT I WANT TO BE, CATLYNN MCLEMORE!"

I rolled my eyes and checked the time on my phone. I had to leave in 20 minutes and my wife hadn't even gotten out of bed yet. I hadn't even taken a shower or eaten breakfast yet.

"Oh my God, Red, I love you, but just get out of bed!" I said. Red groaned and buried herself under the covers yet again.

"No."

"Then you leave me no choice, babe." I said with a smirk. Red looked confused then I scooped her up bridal style and made my way to Eleanor's room.

"What in the world was that for?" Red asked when I put her down. I smiled and said, "You wouldn't get out of bed any other way, so I did what I had to do as a responsible parent."

"Fine, but only because I love you and Leni."

I quickly kissed my wife and said, "I love you too, now please, take care of the child."
