I need to make more oneshots that aren't chaotic crossovers do I?

Josie's POV

"Come on, Mama! My friends are gonna be here in just a few minutes!" I said. Stephanie laughed and said, "Hold on, sweetie, I need to finish doing your hair."

"But Mama, the dance starts in an hour and I want to take pictures!" I complained. Stephanie giggled and then the doorbell rang.

"Someone's here! Someone's here!" I said. I opened the door and Catlynn McLemore was at the door in a beautiful pastel orange dress and a pair of black high heels.

"CATLYNN!" I yelled, running to give her a hug.

"Hey, JT! I love the suit!" Catlynn said. I smiled and said, "Thanks! The watch and tie belong to my uncle and the sunglasses belong to my mama! Your dress is so pretty!"

"Awww, thanks! Now, where the heck's Penney?"

On that cue, Penney Steingold stepped into my apartment wearing a black dress and...sneakers. She was wearing sneakers to the homecoming dance. Why? I'm not sure, but she looked good.

"PENNEY!" Cat and I yelled at the same time. Penney waved to us and said, "Hey! Woah, Josie looks so good in a suit."

"Thanks!" I said, grinning. I turned to Stephanie and then said, "Mama, come on! Aren't you driving us?"

"Yeah, are you guys ready to go? Do you want to take a few pictures together first before you go?" Stephanie said, pulling out her phone. We all nodded and then posed for a picture or two.

"Guys? Let's go have some fun."

The music was blasting at top volume, and half of the Eisenhower student body was already there when Catlynn, Penney, and I got our tickets checked and we made it through to the dance.

"Where's our other friends?" Catlynn yelled. "Where's Red?"

"I was wondering why you didn't go with her!" I yelled.

"I'm closeted, remember? She's still my date!" Catlynn said. "Josie, where's your girlfriend?"

"She goes to my old school! I'm looking around for Valerie and Reed!" I said. On that cue, I saw them, Valerie Salazar-Roland in her iconic pansexual pride dress and Reed Adler in a rainbow tuxedo.

"Hey! Tux buddies!" Reed said to me, giving me a high five. "Hey Catlynn, Penney. What's up?"

"Nothing much, had a few snacks and took a picture or two at Josie's place, I assumed you two met up beforehand?" Cat asked. Reed nodded and said, "Valerie also invited Keira, I don't know where she went but they're somewhere around here."

"Now all we need is..."

"Matilda!" Penney yelled. Matilda Henson skipped up to us in a pantsuit and her hair in a sleek ballet bun rather than her iconic braids. Red Ashley, Catlynn's girlfriend, followed close behind.

"Hey guys!" Keira Roland said, chugging an entire bottle of water. We all laughed at them and then she said, "What? Hydration is nice!"

"Whatever, Key. Let's just get this party started."
