We all feel lost sometimes. But Tommyinnit really was lost, perhaps in the confines of Pogtopia. Ranboo now stood at the entrance of the abandoned Pogtopia.
"This is a lot darker than I remembered," Tubbo admitted as they stood at the stairway leading down. Ranboo was hunched completely down to fit. "It isn't the biggest so we can split up to cover ground fast" Tubbo said as he descended down the stairs. Quackity followed in suit. Prime he wished Fundy could have comeI. The fox was stuck back at Las Nevadas not allowed to come. The three went in separate directions looking for the blonde boy.
Ranboo could hear the echoes for Quackity and Tubbo calling for Tommy, Ranboo silently looked from room to room. What were they going to do if they found Tommy? Better yet what would they do to Ranboo if they wouldn't find Tommy. He crossed one of the bridges looking across from wall to wall. The place was completely forsaken,
"Tommy?" he called out softly. If he were to speak honestly he would admit that he had no faith in finding Tommy here. The realisation dawned on him, where would Tommy hide? Somewhere no one would even think to look. He cringed. Where the hell would that be? He had no idea and he doubted Tubbo would either.
The entire morning Tubbo completely ignored Ranboo as they travelled to Pogtopia. In the end Ranboo gave up on trying to talk to the Las Nevadas duo and silently walked, as the days passed on with Tubbo away. Ranboo really had kept to himself, hoping Tubbo would come back just fine. Was Tubbo going to come back? At this point he was convinced he wouldn't.
He hasn't even asked about our son. His thoughts turned bitter. He looked back into one of the rooms to see Tubbo just staring at the walls.
It wasn't a room exactly, more an odd redstone attraction. Tubbo didn't look up when Ranboo approached.
"Tommy got trapped here," he said. "I wasn't there when it happened. I missed out on a lot of things". Ranboo nodded, still feeling bitter. He's where he's happy. He reminded himself "I guess after that and the exile. After everything Tommy stuck by me" Ranboo stood by him.
Tubbo didn't acknowledge him, still nothing.
"Tubbo," he said softly.
"Why are you really here Ranboo?" Tubbo asked finally.
"You knew Tommy the best," He said. Tubbo laughed sourly,
"No other reason? Nothing at all?" he asked, yes Ranboo shook his head.
"You're where you're happy aren't you?" was his response. Tubbo turned to look at him, finally. He didn't speak, he just stared at his husband, trying to make eye contact. Ranboo refused, he just wouldn't, couldn't. If Ranboo saw his eyes, they would be pleading. "What? What do you want me to say?" he snapped at last. Tubbo bristled
"I don't know! Maybe that you miss me? That you want me to come home?!" Tubbo raised his voice. Not enough to alert Quackity but it was enough for Ranboo to snap.
"You left us. You said that Quackity was making you happy. I let you go because that's what you wanted." he yelled,
"Don't snap at me, big man," Tubbo snarled. Ranboo looked up right at Tubbo. His eyes widened, "look I'm sorry, I didn't mean to shout at you Ranboo" he said, he backed up a little fear in his eyes.
Tubbo was afraid of him. Was he really that bad? At this point he didn't care
"I stayed with Micheal when you left, I stayed by Tommy when you didn't. Don't you snap at me" he growled out. "You know what, maybe Dream can snap some sense into you".
He didn't say that. That wasn't him, That wasn't Ranboo. He took a step back giving Tubbo some space as his eyes welled up with tears of alarm.
"Tubbo '' he sputtered out, "I didn't mean that". Tubbo shook his head, a hysterical laugh emitting from him. It was Ranboo's turn to be frightened.
"GO THEN!" he screamed.
That alerted Quackity, he came running to the two.
"What's going on?" he asked, confused and angry.
"Nothing boss, Ranboo. Was just leaving. Weren't you" Tubbo ground out through angry tears streaming down his face. Quackity clapped Ranboo on the back,
"I think you should take your leave Ranboo, you have disrupted us enough" he said before giving Ranboo a gentle but firm shove away from the two. He looked down as he headed towards the entrance. His throat felt as though it was closing up as he suppressed his sobs until he was out of Pogtopia. As soon as he could see the light he took off running.
He needed to go home, he needed to get to Micheal.
That's all he had now, that's all he had left.
I just lost Tubbo. I just lost my best friend.
Was it really his fault?
That wasn't me, I didn't do this.
Yes you did.
It was back, the voice was back.
This is your fault Ranboo.
He had to shut it out.
He had to get home
Micheal was all he had.
