It was a blur, Tommy walked out of Kinoko in a daze. This, this was exile all over again. He had let his walls down and watched them strike a sword when his vulnerable back was turned. He stumbled over and over again tears streaming down his face.

He kept walking, Dream was free

Dream was free

Dream was free and Tommyinnit was alone

He had no one again.

His feet picked up and he started running, he didn't have a destination. His tears mixed with sweat washed away as it started to pour. It didn't stop and yet he continued to run

It was only when the rain turned to sleet and then to snow did he finally realise what he needed to do.

The trees stretched out for miles, hiding anything that could be on the other side, Tommy's feet had faded from a sprint into a stumbling shuffle hours ago. The snow had turned from gentle into a blizzard pushing the broken, betrayed teen around.

He was hungry

He was tired

And worst of all, Tommyinnit was scared. He shivered from a mix of dread and cold, the chills running down his spine like lightning bolt striking at his nerves didn't help. Tommy's stomach twisted when a light could be seen in the distance along with a thin line that could only be a fence separating the world from his family.

Tommy's strength nearly gave out when he could clearly see the houses that were protected by the wooden fence. He smiled exhaustedly, until he realised exactly where he was. These were the people that most definitely helped his terrorizer escape Pandora's box. Hos throat was dry and his hands shook until the point where he probably couldn't even pick something up if he tried and yet he approached Philza Minecraft's door with determination.

He knocked

No one answered

He knocked again.

Phil opened the door looking at Tommy in shock

"Tommy? What are you doing here?" he asked in a voice close to a whisper. Dream would kill him if he knew that he was here.

Tommy stammered in shock at the brashness of Phil. He looked annoyed and confused. Maybe even a little upset. Tommy just hoped that this was because he was stressed and not because after months his youngest adoptive son had shown up on his door after betraying someone who stuck his neck out for him multiple times.

"I'm here to see you and Technoblade," he said weakly. "Can, can I come in?" he asked. Phil frowned before shaking his head.

"Sorry mate, we're a bit busy right now." he said before his tone darkened "why are you here really? Do you need something? Armour? Potions? Gapples? I can go get some for you" Phil was actively blocking Tommy from getting even close to the door, even going as far as to step out and shut the door behind him. Tommy shook his head

"I came here to apologise" he said, he was focusing on his feet as he spoke. "For everything, for betraying Techno for Tubbo, for betraying you. I have the axe of peace" he said, handing the axe over to Phil who had begun to slowly force Tommy away from his stairs and the gate. "Phil? What are you doing?" he asked as he realised how far away he was from where they originally started.

"Look Tommy, as flattering as it is for you to come by to apologise, uh Dream just got out of prison so you really shouldn't be here. You should be where it's safe and that isn't around here" he said as Tommy stepped outside of the marked perimeter of Phil and Techno's land. Tommy, now fed up with being pushed away, grabbed onto Phil's clothes pulling the man to his height.

"That's why I'm here. He's going to kill me and the last thing I want is to be on bad terms with you and Techno when I'm going. So please can you at least tell him that I'm sorry?" he pleaded, his eyes wide. Phil brushed Tommy off his, looking around and noticing a masked figure watching out the window, he made himself look as large as he could to hide Tommy from sight.

"Mate, you need to leave and not come back" he said looking at Tommy. No emotion expressed on his face, his eyes dark and empty. "Go" he said, shoving Tommy away causing him to stumble.

Without saying anything further he turned and walked away. Not looking back even once. Tommy's already wide eyes widened further as he watched his last parental figure disappear into his house.

He crumbled, he sprinted away into the woods yet again running aimlessly, tears streaming down his face until he collapsed deep into the woods sobbing and shivering.

What he didn't expect was a sudden warmth of a large coat followed by someone pulling him to his feet and into a hug as he continued to sob.

"You're okay Tommy" he heard a male voice say, rubbing his back and waiting for the teen to stop shaking. Gingerly, Tommy lifted his head from the man's chest squinting as the snowy light hit him in his stinging eyes.

That man that was holding him so gently. Being so careful not to startle him. Was,

"Wilbur" Tommy croaked,
