Tubbo's tired eyes watched the neon clock in his room tick round and round in circles, he didn't know how long he'd been staring, could have been five minutes. It could have been fifty. He flinched at the sound of his door slamming closed.
"You've been staring at that clock for twenty minutes" Quackity snapped. Tubbo sighed
"And you've been watching me for that long." He replied dryly.
"This is serious Tubbo." Quackity said.
"Really? I couldn't tell,"
"What's up your ass this morning?" he scoffed. Tubbo whipped his head around, glaring at Quackity.
"Let me think, um. Micheal won't talk to me. I'm filing for divorce. Tommy is missing and oh, I WORK FOR A COMPLETE FUCKING DIRT BAG" he screamed. Quackity stepped back in shock before retaining his calm composure.
"Well none of that is my problem and- FUNDY, STOP EAVESDROPPING" Quackity wrenched the door open. The fox flinched, but said nothing. "None of that is my problem, first Micheal won't talk to you because you took him away from his father who, for your information. Was actually looking after him. Secondly you're filing for a divorce which was YOUR idea! You overreacted! You set him up for disaster! Tommy, has been missing for Prime knows how long, and I care for him too, so don't run your mouth about the kid okay. And thirdly If I'm such a SHITTY boss, then you can get out!" Tubbo stared at him blankly.
"I'm sorry Bossman, I just. I don't know what's wrong with me" He sighed, "I'm confused, I'm angry, I left and tried to blame it on someone else. Fuck" Tubbo muttered. "Quackity, how the fuck do I fix this?"Quackity sat down on Tubbo's bed. He slung an arm around the boy.
"Apologise. That's all you truly can do" Quackity smiled softly, his gold tooth glinting in the faint light.
The two sat watching the light in the room go from pale yellow to a dusky orange,
"Okay. Okay" Tubbo said, his eyes filled with hope. "Maybe I can fix this, maybe it won't be so bad." he stood up. "You'll be by my side right?" his voice cracked, Quackity stood up.
"Of course" he said, a wide grin on his face. "From now until forever boss man" Fundy cleared his throat.
"Um so, guys" he said, The two turned to him. "We've got a tinsy bit of a problem" Fundy was pushed forward towards the two and onto his knees. Quackity rushed to help him.
"Um Big Q" Tubbo said, Quackity looked up to see Tubbo, pale. Eyes staring straight ahead. Quackity followed his gaze, locking eyes with the iconic white mask.
"Hello you two" Dream said calmly, his arm wrapped around Ranboo.
"Boo" Tubbo whispered, his tone a mix of shock and fear.
"Hello Tubbo" Ranboo said, his tone made the three shiver. It was a cold fury that didn't fit the usaully friendly enderman hybrid.
"Ranboo! ubbo and I were just talking about you- I mean, We were just saying-" Quackity began. Tubbo looked over, he was sweating. A lot.
"Ranboo, Ranboo. I'm sorry" Tubbo said. The enderman looked at him with disinterest.
"Really Tubbo, You're sorry now? Only now?" Dream said.
"We heard your little convosation" Ranboo said quietly "you're not sorry"
"No, no. Ranboo I am, I really am" Tubbo yelled back. Dream sighed.
"Come on Ranboo, do you thing. I've got my own shit to deal with" his head turned towards Quackity. Ranboo shook his head.
"I have to wait"
