Selina wasn't sure if she'd see him, but she knew she wanted to. It bothered her that this was true, but at the same time she liked the discomfort of being intrugued by someone. Bruce has to be at home. She knew he wasn't much of a socialite, he rarely left his house beside school which was why the public always went nuts for him at the party last night. I mean it's Christmas. If I had someone to spend Christmas with, I would be at home. Selina was walking the streets in her now shorter party dress. In this outfit she didn't need to sneak past the gates of Wayne Manor, oh no, today she planned to walk straight up to his front door. And do what? Say, "Merry Christmas" and leave? Why is this such a task? Selina had always been so care free when talking to people, espcially flirting, a boy was a boy and that was how she saw it, no one intimidated her before, well at least not until now. Why did this sweet, young, and seemingly harmless boy make her suddenly nervous when she saw him? I'll just say Merry Christmas and start with small talk, yeah, I'll ask him how he's holding up...I can do that. She continued on with her stroll through Gotham until she saw a group of girls just a little ahead, one girl in particular caught her eye. They were huddled together chit-chatting and giggling. Some of the taller girls making the younger girls stand out in the group. Selina approached the one she recognized, a black haired girl named Lily turned around after Selina tapped the back of her shoulder.

"Oh Cat! This must be a Christmas miracle! It's so good to see you!"  Lily exclaimed. As soon as Lily took a step out of the circle for the girls to see who was behind her, Selina was swarmed with greetings. "Hi Cat!" "Oh you look so pretty!" "It's been too long!" "How's it hangin'?" Each girl with their own greeting for her. These girls were always a good time. Selina first met Lily and her friends when she was ten in alley way outside of a Japanese nightclub. Lily's father owned the spot and at the time was forcing her to go outside and promote the club. Selina had asked her if there was a way to get in the club and when Lily had asked why she told her to "mind your biz nosy" and Lily had ended up pushing her on the ground which Selina admired and from then everytime they saw each other on the streets they would hang out. At the time Lily was twelve. Now seventeen, Lily was even more prettier than before. Her short black hair grew into long layers over the years that she always flat-ironed. She had always worn makeup but now that her features were more prominent her makeup made her look like a supermodel. She was dressed in a short black skater dress and black tights that had holesand runs in them, a denim jacket that was too big for her, black boots, and a black beanie on. If Selina didn't know her she would have never been able to guess that this girl had suffered as bad as she did every day.

"You look so good! How are you?" Lily asked her as she pulled her into a hug. Selina smiled and said, "I'm doin' good, how bout you?"

Lily pulled away with tears in her eyes and said, "Better now that you're here." These two had been through some rough times together. Selina was there for Lily when her father had forced her into being a dancer at his club, her father was a sick cruel man. Selina understood what kind of man he was from her own experiences with her father. She could relate to Lily, this being the reason they bonded so quickly. The last time the two of them saw each other was three months ago. Selina hadn't seen her on the streets, the two of them always running from the cops, always on their own, that's just the way they were, and hey understood that. But no matter how long it always was everytime they saw each other again they picked right back up from where they left off.

"Hey girls can you give us a minute?" Lily asked her group of friends, they smiled and waved to "Cat" as they moved a little further down the street. Lily grabbed Selina's arm and laughed, "Selina it's been too long!"

"It really has. How's your dad? He still bothering you?"

"He's dieing!" Lily exclaimed. The both of them burst into laughter. "And I get the club after he kicks the bucket. He doesn't exactly know that though." Lily smiled viciously.
