Selina was ready for more fun, her morning had been disappointing, she wanted the same kind of fun she had had at the party. The thrilling, edgy, hilarious fun that her and Jonathan shared the night of the party...She had changed back into her normal street attire: all black everything. Now determined to shake the thought of Bruce from her mind Selina asked Jonathan, "So how does one begin Christmas?"

"Well, since its already Christmas Day, usually one would have a feast at this time with their ...family." Jonathan shyly looked to the floor, kicking a dust bunny by his foot.

"A feast! Just what I was thinkin'." Selina skipped over to his window and opened it up, she was about to just jump out but remembered Jonathan's sad face dropped to the floor. She turned around to find him still sadly looking down, "Hey," he looked up, his hair covering his right eye, "C'mon family, let's go." She held her hand out to him, a wide smile filled his face and he grabbed her hand. The two slipped out the window and headed toward the city.

"I told you this place was good." Selina said as she scarfed down some noodles. Selina had taken Jonathan to a Chinese restaurant in the hub of Gotham's Chinatown. It was pretty good food for the sketchy appearance the owners displayed outside. Jonathan thought this restaurant was a symbol for a handful of people in Gotham, rough on the outside but nice on the inside.

"It's delicious, Grandmother never lets me eat out!" Jonathan was carefully dipping his eggroll into his duck sauce, attempting to get just the right amount.

"When times are really good I come here. These people always treat me nice, most times I don't even have to pay."

  "Really? Why?"

"Mei, the owner," Selina swallowed, "A few years ago a gang had a drive-by on this street, I grabbed her son and threw myself under a car just before he got shot."

"No way! How old was he?"

"He's about a year younger than us. Now every time I come in here I ge-"

"Seliiiiinaaaa! Is that you?" A women Jonathan didn't recognize was swiftly walking to the table with a tray. She was dressed in red skinny jeans and a white uniform top.

"Mei! How's it going?" The woman hugged Selina with her free arm and then squeezed Selina's cheeks.

"You and James are getting so big now! How are you?"

Selina smiled, "Eh, holdin' up, what about you how's everyone?"

"Good, good, everyone's good. I was wondering when you would turn up again, and on Christmas too, what a surprise!" The happy woman turned to Jonathan, "Oh and who is this?"

"That's Jonathan, he's a good friend of mine."

"Welcome! I'm Mei, I'm the owner." Jonathan, unsure of what to say just awkwardly smiled. Luckily, Mei turned back to Selina.

"Don't you worry about nothing I'll take care of you. You want more noodles, more chicken?"

"Don't go crazy, you work too hard."

"Okay I'll be right back." Mei patted Selina on the back and then hurried off through the sliver kitchen doors.

"She was happy to see you."

"She's the best." Selina said patting her tummy. "She told me if I'm ever hungry I can always come here. I only come when it's special though, don't want her to think I don't appreciate it, I mean, she deserves the money anyway." Mei treated them to more than she originally offered, she brought a whole platter out  just for the two of them and reminded Selina that if she ever needed food, or even a place to stay, she was always welcome. They embraced and shortly after that Jonathan and Selina devoured all the food that was given to them. Jonathan hadn't eaten so much in his life and it felt good to have a very full stomach.

"That was an amazing feast, family! What should we do now?" Jonathan laughed as they walked side by side.

"Can we make a quick stop before we do anything else?" Selina looked as if she had something on her mind. Jonathan was praying to God it wasn't Bruce.

"Sure." He rolled his eyes, Here we go, he thought, bring on the long walk to Wayne Manor just to stare at him through his large glass windows because, Bruce Wayne is perfect, he is everything in this world. Rich bastard. But to his surprise they were not headed toward Wayne Manor at all. They stayed within the city.

    "Selina where are we going?"

"I just wanna check up on a little someone."
