I've had enough of being scared. I've had enough of whimpering around. I've had enough of crying every Goddamn second.

I. Have. Had. Enough.

I wasn't planning on doing this but I will be doing it now. Shuaya has pushed me to the point that I had blood on my mind and now I wouldn't mind getting some on my hands either. Death will come to Shuaya and it will be torturous, I promise that.

I steadied my breathing, wiped my eyes and blew my nose. The evening sky had turned pink and my hands had stopped turning white. I looked at Loki's duplicate and knew that I had to do something about him too. I could either make a duplicate of myself which can keep him company, or kill him. I made some quick calculations and a plan was ready.

Time for action.

I leapt out of the balcony and ran inside the bathroom, searching for my knives which I had restocked. I found the pair, the one that Heimdall had gifted to me and tucked them safely in my robes. Breathing steadily, I focused onto creating a duplicate, I'm not on a murder spree after all. Loki had taught me how to create illusions and duplicates.

"They're two completely different powers." He had said, when teaching me about illusion-projection and duplication-casting.

An illusion would be pass through and a duplicate would be solid. Since I wanted this duplicate to believe I'm actually here, I chose to create a duplicate. Closing my eyes, I channeled the magic within me, in Loki's words, to recreate an exact facsimile of my own body in its present circumstances.

By the time I saw my duplicate leaving the bath, I was sweating heavily. The process took a lot out of me and I had to wait a while before sneaking out.

I crossed my room and took a right. The doors of Loki's chamber made my fingers spark in greens and whites. He must be inside, resting after the repair work on the Bifrost.

Before I could venture any further, I saw two maids coming towards me and I ducked behind a table in the nick of the time. Close call. I need to be careful. No one can see me going around. As far as anyone is concerned, I'm in my room with Loki.

I took a few deep breaths and thought about how I could go through the castle without catching someone's eye.

'But why?'

A voice protested within me.

'Let someone see you, they'll banish you to Earth, where your home is. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all.'

"No." I shush the voice. I would've let this be but Shuaya needs to pay for his sins. I cannot and I will not let him get away with this. The other me who was pulled from my house in Yorkshire in a sudden moment would've forgiven him but the me who is here and now? Never.

I ducked behind a pillar again as Frigg crossed me. I was almost certain she could feel me, after all she is a witch and a great one at that. This is getting riskier.

I peeked out to see the long corridor empty and stepped out sheepishly once I was assured. Not daring to make any sound, I carefully descended to reach the final corridor which I'll need to cross before I could exit the castle. I could see the Bifrost from here and that was good news. What wasn't the good news was the fact that I could also see an army guarding the castle boundaries. It'll be hard to pass them. They wouldn't have had been an issue per say, they barely know me let alone recognise me but Thor and the other warriors were sitting in the garden, having some discussion, and that was the hard part.

I stepped back behind the pillars to be able to think again. While hiding behind pillars, trying to keep my fingers from not flaring up too much, I saw a few birds flying around who seem to have the attention of no one even though they were chirping at the top of their lungs in the middle of a crowd.

That's it! I can transform into an animal and then I'll be able to reach Heimdall undetected! What a brilliant idea! Except I had no clue how I could do that. I didn't advance through my lessons that much, just the basics.

Okay okay, breathe. I need to reach the Bifrost and I need to do so stealthy. I think I'll need to imagine that I'm a bird, like really feel it. Imagine that my arms are the wings, my mouth the beak, my legs the claws. I stood there, focusing really hard for about two straight minutes but nothing happened. I was really disappointed, but as much as I was that, I was desperate too and couldn't afford to dwell much longer on that. Maybe some other time.

Now, I needed a distraction, big enough to draw the attention of every soldier present in the foyer. What could be a bigger distraction than a bomb blast sorta thing? I wouldn't let anyone get hurt though. And it's easier than trying to change into a biped.

I picked up a copper flower vase, emptied it of its contents, filled it with gunpowder and hurled it towards the emptiest corner. I shot a blast and it hit the vase, causing a medium range explosion. I had made sure that the shrapnel wouldn't hurt anyone by letting the blast melt through the vase before exploding.

Everyone was on their feet, and high-pitched screams pierced the atmosphere. The guards were moving everyone to safety and searching for the element of disruption. I covered my head and snuck away to the Bifrost.

Catching up on my breath, I see Heimdall at his usual place. He probably knows everything so there isn't any point explaining or asking.

"Heimdall, open the Bifrost to Yaana."

"Why?"

My eyebrows knit together, what is up with him? Why is he asking 'why'? I do realize he could've asked me anytime before too but asking today was...something I couldn't answer to.

I shrugged my shoulders and stated blandly, "Why do you think? Shuaya, of course."

"You have to be careful. While you can unleash your full potential, he can unleash chaos."

Oh please, whatever he could do, he has done. Now it's my time.

"I'll handle it. Please open the Bifrost, Heimdall."

He saw that there was no stopping me, and besides his job was only to warn me. Duly noted. He slammed the sword into its pedestal and the Bifrost took me to Yaana.

I'm finally here.

I let magic flow through me thoroughly. I could feel my eyes glowing and my hands were filled with so much energy that was waiting just to be spent. My mind was going through all the scenarios and now I had the vantage of the fact that I knew he's alive. He, on the other hand, isn't expecting anyone, let alone me - a dead woman. With all my strength and will, I yell the one name I wanted to erase from existence.

"Shuaya!"
