Calming The Storm

Chapter Nineteen

                Smoke's pov

"I can't stop his decision." I say.

"He's really pushed your buttons this time babe it's all over your face." Juice says.

Later.

I'm at my mom an Clay's house. She tells us she has been attacked  and raped. I'm pissed. I want to cry.

"Momma." I whisper.

She then hugged me.

"I love you momma." I say hugging her.

"I love you baby." She says. I then got up and I went to leave and so did Jax. We hugged. I then went back to the hospital. I can't tell Juice yet. This is a club matter. I then put on a happy face and went to see my man.

I walked into his room and he was still awake.

"Bub and I are good." I say kicking off my boots and crawling in his bed.

"That's good." He says wrapping his arms around me.

Next day.

I took Juice home, well we went to the clubhouse. We are all in a meet. Clay is telling everyone what's happened with mom. As he is speaking I have my head down and Juice took my hand. After the meeting, Juice pulled me aside.

"That's exactly why you came in upset last night." He asks.

I nodded.

He took my hands.

"Baby, from here on out, more protection is going to happen. That means, you ain't gonna ride alone ever. When your with us you will be on the back of my bike. When we are all riding, you are riding where I can see you." He says.

"Understood. Yes sir." I say.

He pulled me to him and hugged me.

Later.

Everyone is getting ready to take care of things. Out of nowhere we went outside to see Tig bloody after her and Opie fought.

"Smoke, Juice go call Tara." Jax says.

After that, some of us are in the weight room getting guns together. Even our personal guns.

"Make sacrifices. This is for Gemma." Clay says.

I then look at Bobby then to Juice.

"You are taking more precautions for this. Bullet vest, elbow and knee protectors." Juice says.

"I knew that was coming." I say.

"Sweetheart he's doing what's best." Bobby says.

"I know." I say.

"I would make you do the same princess." He says.

I then nod.
