Chapter thirty-six

Smoke's Pov

We are in a meeting. Jax tells us that Opie is dead. I felt my breath hitch.

"No retaliation." He says. Especially looking at me.

After

We see Unser.

"Where is my mother?" I ask.

"You got arrested with her." He says.

"I came straight here when I got released." I say.

Later.

Mom came. She needs to speak to Clay.

"Just Clay or both us?" I ask.

"Just Clay darling." She says.

Juice and I then walk away.

Jax and Chibs returned with a girl. She's staying in the garage. I know mom hates the idea. After a bit I could hear Juice walk to me.

"She didn't rat." I say turning around.

"How'd you know it was me?" He asks.

"Babe I know the sound of your footsteps." I say.

Later it's Opie's wake. I'm absolutely a mess. I walked out when they opened his coffin.

Shortly after as I'm in the hall, Juice joins me and pulls me into his arms. After a few moments I stopped crying. We all say our final goodbyes to Op. Jax and I walked in the room together.

I put a old tie string necklace that we had as kids one I had made and put it around his hand.

"I'll see you again brother." I whisper where nobody can hear me. After a while we all walked out and I'm standing by Jax by the hearse now crying. He shut the door and I walked away completely crying.

Three days later

I'm sitting on the edge of mine an Juice's bed looking at old photos of Jax, Opie, and I. A moment after Juice say by me.

"You okay baby?" He asks rubbing my back.

"Yea, just wanted to look back." I say.

Later we went to the clubhouse. After a meeting we met up with who we talked about.

They both then decided to fight.

"Kick his ass Jax!" I say getting hyped.

"I swear your Ol Lady is a man trapped in a woman's body." Chibs jokes to Juice.
Then Alvarez showed. I didn't take my eyes off Jax. A while later we went into the warehouse. When the bikes were getting shot at I was blocked by Happy, Chibs, and Juice.

"You son of a!" I say.

I went at him only to be held back by Juice.

Later.

We are at another place and Venus our help came.

I leaned to Juice.

"Better tits then me. I'm kinda jealous." I say quiet.

"Naw babe your tits are great." He says quiet. I smile and he kissed my head. After a while Venus left, the guy woke up, and he wound up biting Tig's butt.

Back at clubhouse

"I should wear more outfits like that for you." I say wrapping my arms around Juice from behind while he was on the computer.

"I like the sound of that." He says with a smile.

I then laughed and kissed his head.
